The scene of Nolan letting himself be pulled into the black hole is amazing

it was also mirrored by Debbie on the bridge

Invincible was the first show that made me felt a punch through the screen, and the only show that thought people flying is by creating your own leverage. Also voice acting is so top notch

The thing is, both of these properties are older than some of the people watching the shows right now. Invincible started up in 2003, The Boys in 2006. In both cases they actually toned stuff down, or made changes which don't make much sense.

Magneto’s tragic loss of his family in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' vs. the dark twist in 'The Acolyte' with Osha and Mae’s mom highlights how similar themes can be portrayed differently.

I remember watching season one of the boys in 2019 when I was like 12 and I didn’t think it was that bad so I think gore and stuff is fine for children.
@Ch3CKP0INT.10 ай бұрын
I never understood why people kept saying this show would traumatize kids,it’s really not as bad people make it seem,like i watched it when i was 9 and loved it! (9/10 show,10/10 video you deserve more subs) you should do a video essay on arcane next it has great writing,animation characters and more
@FilmJunk1e10 ай бұрын
I'm already working on a couple of videos but arcane is definitely one i'm planning to do in the future!

animated violence and gore is a lot less “traumatizing” than live action violence and gore, but i guess it depends on the kid
@Ch3CKP0INT.10 ай бұрын
@@itsMe..- well I watched the boys also at 9 and a lot of other live action shows but it did not affect me that much. (Maybe because when i was 4-7,i was a huge shark fan and all the movies,shows etc. were 18+ and very gory,and i just got use to it at a early age.
@surfing-axolotl10 ай бұрын
I mean there's a reason it's 18!plus, the parents are supposed to not let the children watch it in the first place.
@Ch3CKP0INT.10 ай бұрын
@@surfing-axolotl but if the children are mature enough doesn’t that mean that they can handle any show,movie,comic or video game? (What’s your opinion)

So he was waiting for mark and his wife to die to then takeover earth?
@FilmJunk1e10 ай бұрын
I believe he was hoping for that to be the case, but once he saw mark also had the powers of a viltrumite he knew he had no alternative since mark would live for thousands of years.
