Went to look at the 12 Pro Max to possibly replace my 11 Pro and ended up falling in love with the 12 Mini. The Max is just too damn big. If they make a 13 Mini next year with 3 cameras that is going to be a monster seller.

Your real world tests certify to me that the iPhone is the most versatile video + image phone in all different scenarios. Your montages from dslr and the phones themselves are now indistinguishable and that is the prowess of iPhone. Disabling icloud photos should not be necessary. In fact, that, along with the optimise storage setting is what prevents iPhones from running out of storage. I have restored a lot of times on multiple phones (with some 120GBs worth of photos in icloud) with icloud photos always on (and kept on afterwards) without any issues. Only a smaller version of photos is what gets restored to the phone. Nice video.. reminds me of the better times!

Your road trip reviews are a great idea. You add a storyline in addition to the phone details which makes it infinitely more digestable. Excellent! I virtually never use the ‘portrait’ blur on my iPhone 7 Plus, but do add it sensitively in editing using AfterFocus. That way it’s far more accurate.
