This is not a wor film, this is not a film about anyone undermining anybody else. It is simply a celebration of humanity itself. Never giving up and finding something good even in the worst circumstances. I loved this movie when I first watched when it was in the theaters. I enjoy watching it in youtube today as well. The only part I can do without is the romance of the two in the island. That does not add any value to the movie but apart from that, it's a very well made movie.

While it delves into the personal struggles of characters like the pilot's wife, the soldier searching for his sister, and the impoverished Muslim family, it glaringly omits any mention of the true instigator behind these tragedies: the LTTE and their narcissistic leader. Their heinous crimes against humanity are completely overlooked. It's a disappointment and a squandering of both time and NGO funds.
