Easy, Danny isn't exactly likable, the show is too slow, it's budget is small and the plot is thin At least season 2 picked it up but the bar was still low compared to the other shows

Solid Steel343 Dude it was. The whole show was rushed and had the worst showrunner in history: Scott Buck. It had no chance at all. Finn Jones was a horrible choice for Danny Rand. Sure, he may look like him but that's it. It's true that he only had three weeks to work out and train for the role so he wasn't going to look good visually nor fight well. 6-7 months would've made a big difference. But I just don't like is acting. He can't ask, has no charisma. The writing, pacing , story was shit. They didn't settle on a compelling villain. It was just a rotation of several bad ones. The budget was not high enough for us to see nice visual effects for K'un-Lun and the Iron Fist, which was just a glowing fist that wasn't seen that much. No flashbacks as to how Danny Rands training went "sideways", no flashbacks on his training, it was all just lazy exposition, like "tell don't show". Hopefully they'll fix this next season. The fight scenes were horrendous. I was expecting some amazing martial arts scenes, possibly better than Daredevil, but everything they had was shit. The choreography was bad, and they did so many cuts to try to hide it, but you can't polish a turd. It didn't help that Finn Jones couldn't fight to save his life, but he wasn't trained properly. What they should've done was give him a mask so that a stunt double may give us great fight scenes. But the people who ran the show were idiots. They should've hired some show runners from Hong Kong and set them loose on this material. We missed out on an amazing show, and what we got was shit. Danny Rand wasn't likable whatsoever. Most of it was the writing , but a big part was Finn Jones acting. Compared to Charlie Cox , Krysten Ritter, and Mike Colter, he's weak. He was basically an idiotic, angry man child through the show. But they did a whole 180 on his character in Defenders/Luke Cage. I would have preferred Alex Pettyfer for the role. Or maybe Lewis Tan.
