The Iron Neck Basics Exercise #3: Protraction Retraction. This exercise is awesome for training the brain to understand where your head is in space. Poor posture can suck! Especially when it's your head that's being sucked into a computer screen or smartphone. By "turtling" your neck forwards and pulling it back into a tuck, you can really isolate the muscles at the base of the skull. This can be helpful for neck tension, headache relief, and core neck strength, which is super important.
