This was extremely helpful for a stressed out bride trying to learn the Cricut while planning a wedding. I will be making tote bags for the bridal party. I liked that the video was short and I could put my vinyl on on the correct side. I am using gold Cricut Everyday vinyl on black tote bags. Your videos are the best!

I’m very new to this process. Have only tested my scan and cut on a small project. I read the notes below and saw the phrase “mirrored” design. Am I right in deducing that the matte side of the product goes onto the project then? That is the side that contains the adhesive ? So if I cut a name e.g., I cut it out in a mirror image of what I want it to read. Although the software is a little different I find the techniques you demonstrate are applicable to my Brother Scan and Cut. And I love watching your videos.....so upbeat and easy to follow. Thanx.

thank you! I had this problem recently with the gold iron on. I found making a little pen mark worked on the vinyl side but not so well on the carrier side so that helped when cutting out tiny little strips. Wish cricut would make some kind of mark on one side or the other to help us out.
