IRON WILL SINGLE BEVEL | Broadhead Test & Review 2022

While broadheads alone won’t be the deciding factor whether you harvest your trophy or not, it is surprising to me that guys will spend $1000s of dollars on the top of the line bows, sights, rests, camo, and o zone scent controls - but will then buy some off the shelf $40 3 pack broadhead. Putting the toughest, sharpest object right through the pump house or very close by should be the starting point. Everything else comes after that. I’m currently running the iron will 150SB and the results have been amazing. No need for blood trails though if you watch the deer tip over. You guys should review the tuffhead evo 2 heads next! They’re great 1 piece heads with excellent steel and razor sharp.

Ashby used a trad bow in all his testing. In the end it comes down to shot placement and the archers overall skill level, if doing one thing wrong just slightly it will make everything shoot off and fixed heads show it. Shot Iron Will heads last year and this year have out done my other heads in accuracy, in consistent shot after shot, durability, ease of sharpening.

I just picked up some of their single bevels. I might pick up a pack of their wides as well and keep a mix in my quiver.

I know this is an older video, but a buddy has some of these for sale and they seem great, but now they make the wide. Should I pay more for the wides or are the regulars just fine?

I’m a year late on this comment but check out privileged bow hunter’s video on the IW wide. He put a wide through the shoulder of a boar and left a great blood trail.

But you didn’t break down the results in this individual video. Just that is had the same weight on all heads. Nothing about accuracy or penetration performance is why I’m asking

I dont get how the single bevel works in a 4 blade configuration, the spin almost has to be reduced with bleeders. Not sold on this head

The bleeders are also single beveled

@@austinphillips9966 What are you talking about? It’s basic physics why SB work better. They keep spinning as they hit bone and they split it with torque.
