Bama needs to beat Auburn PLUS one of the 12 teams ahead of them to lose: Tenn losing at Vandy, UGA losing at home vs G-Tech, Miami losing at Syracuse, SMU losing at home vs Cal, ND losing at USC, Indy losing at home vs Purdue. If one this happen. Bama will be the 1st 3-loss team in the CFP.

The playoff, at this point, should include: -->Four Big Ten teams: (Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana, Penn State) -->Two ACC teams (Miami, SMU) -->Big 12 champion (likely Iowa State or Arizona State) -->Boise State -->Notre Dame -->This leaves room for three SEC teams, and I don't see any way other than bias and/or corruption that one of those teams is Alabama. They may very well leave out the loser of the ACC championship game in favor of Alabama and that would be a travesty

The only angle Bama has of getting the 12 seed is if ND loses to USC and UNLV wins the Mt West. 3 loss Bama vs 2 loss ND,Boise St and ACC Champ game loser. You can argue Bama is better than the other you can argue they have the best win vs UGA & LSU which doesn’t look as good anymore. It wouldn’t bother me if both UNLV and Boise St got the nod over Bama. Scoring 3 pts at OU tough to comeback from that.

Just have 2 of their top 5 WRs this year, instead of WR 1-5 ALL suffering Major injuries, and they are likely 8-3 or 9-2. Their Defense has kept them in every game. Even a MID level Offense would have beaten Misso, and either Ole Miss or Tennessee. South Carolina whipped OU, but 21 pts were given to SC by the terrible Offense.
