Guessing it will be the same as the Pajero so that Centre Diff Light would be blown. The wheels would be flashing if it did not engage right. Good choice not to attempt the really hard stuff. If there is an easier way around why not do it. As for the whole 4wd v camping/touring I'm with you mate. Much rather do things to get to a destination not just to brag I did this track or that obstacle.

The 4WD system not showing diff lock/4wd is basically the most common problem on the deli and it's to do with the sensors. 99% of the time it's not a problem and only for visual aids.

@@firetofork I have the same problem with my Pajero after having just done the Gibb River, Kalumburu and Mitchel Falls Roads! Seems to be a common problem across the Mitsubishi range. I think a few more adventure videos would be great on the channel. Include recipes as part of it and it would be even better. Just recipes all the time does get a bit meh after a while. The vids you were doing when you were up in Broome were some that I really enjoyed and although the focus of the channel is outback cooking, I don't think it would hurt to include some of the travels as well on more vids. The attack angle on 4x4 vans pretty much sucks though. I remember we used to clobber everything with the old Spectron we had.
@firetofork2 жыл бұрын
Completely agree mate. This trip has definitely got me energised to get some more travel on the channel. I find the cooking vids on their own are a useful resource to refer to without too much fluff to sift through to get to the recipe, but when I’m doing cool trips I definitely want to include more about the journey

Great video Harry, just wondering what points you attached the Equalizer strap to? I just fitted an Xrox bar to my Delica L400, 2004 model and bolted two 4.5T tow hooks to the center bar side mounts. Apparently, they are made to fit the tow hooks, not sure how a recovery would go using them though? Keep the Delica trips coming. Cheers

The factory points mate- the guys at Delica Garage reckon they are stronger than the bullbar points

Yes, Ian Thorpe shaves his chest to help him swim however you need to understand that doing this to yourself isn't going to help the Delica in the water. Pro trip: when it comes time for Bill to learn to swim you can't just cake him in silicon spray and toss him in the water. To be honest this isn't a great approach with cars either. Criticism aside, it was the subtle re-use of music from "I Don't Hate It (Entirely)" after having a go at BAD179's cooking that I really appreciated. Code word "Silicone"
