They started as a Mitsubishi Express van in Aust. Don’t think we ever got the high roof in 4wd though.

A good place to get second hand 4wd stuff is also cash converters. They sell fridges and winches and air compressors and more. And good brands at a discount. Come with 3 months warranty. Definitely a better option than king's. Excited for this build series! Tip to Tip what Great content and something different in the KZbin space yeww

Tip to Tip. Just watched a couple & toddler do the tip in an old Kombi 2 wheel drive ,so you should shit it in ! I've done lots of touring in old troopies with VERY basic gear ( read basic ply draws with a matrass on top & a tarp shelter ) when I & the missus were younger. Now she wants more comfort.

im in the process of doing up my van, a much much slower process with hiccups, stoked for you that you have a solid base of the delica to build up. They say the mitsu delica and the vw syncro are nemesis in the 4x4 world. Had a mate who owned a delica and they drive fantastic. Look forward to watching your trip and advanture.
