The requirement to slay an incubus to become an incubus is kinda nonsensical...how'd they ever recover regular combat losses then, if their recruitment process doesn't enable them to grow their number as one must die for one to be recruited? I guess they only need to defeat another one, not necessarily kill. Which is quite a bummer to the victor, i guess ;-)
@40KTheories5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I'm sure there's some form of contingency in place should their numbers drop below a certain number. Perhaps they recover the armour of the fallen from the battlefield before simply bestowing it to those who have more than proven their skills, or have them go out and try to kill a Wych or they simply have the Haemonculi covens resurrect them, or something like that.
@lightningcat825 жыл бұрын
Would that requirement just make any new Incubi near impossible. Each full Incubi is basically the equivalant to a Exarch, so each new one has to be better than that. They then grow and improve over the course of centuries or even millennium. So losing to a new recruit should be near impossible unless they weaken or are tag-teamed. The first is not usually much of a problem for the Eldar, and the second goes against the principles the Incubi seem to follow, amoung each other at least.
@andrewmcnally50135 жыл бұрын
Ummmm. The Haemonculi could bring them back? I'd imagine that several of them have deals with the Incubi. Protection for regeneration.

Maybe the reason drazhar never speaks is because he is mute either by birth or that he was wounded in battle and lost the ability to make his mind known. Another possibility is that he took a vow of silence and swore never to speak since actions speak louder then words.

I have never understood the recruitment idea, of having to kill one of those that you wish to join, to prove that you are worthy. How did the group even start up, if that is the requirement? And, at best, it is a group doomed to die out, because, if one die in battle, that is a permanent loss for the group. It is just an odd idea, an to me at least, lazy writing.

What do you get when you combine a Haemonculi and a certain Primarch of the White Scars? Answer: Drazhar! After getting board from 4,000 years of torturing and experimenting what better suffering could a artist of flesh and misery get from the wild riding, poet conquer than to turn him into the silent guardian of Commorragh?

Having to kill an Incubus to become an Incubus seems... stupid? Why would you require a new combatant to kill an older, experienced combatant? No matter who wins, it's a net loss.

So if he doesn't speak then how exactly did the other Incubi come to the conclusion that Drazhar is his name? Also, love your videos, but for the love of the God Emperor please tone down that voice acting. Ahriman sounded like he was speaking through a 12 foot length of PVC.

I know killing three custodes at all let alone in single combat is impressive but didn't lileath do the exact same thing after a full night at the arena and with no armour. And she ain't a phoenix lord.
