They're much fatter and heavier for the multitude of safety features it has now, while also having to hold an entire race's worth of fuel, and have to be driven without any aids like TCS and ABS. And they're still faster. Cope

The gearbox on this F2004 is a bit too short for Spa; could use a click taller 5th, 6th and 7th gear or much easier - a click taller final drive. It should be about 330-335 at the end of the straights with the right setup. With a good setup it's a piece of cake picking up the entire 2021 field. in just 3-4 laps.

You can go with lower downforce and gear ratios in F2004 to max out at 330kph @ Kemmel straight, great video regardless! Gonna fire up a server to race F2004 vs 2021 Hybrid with my friends tonight :D (to allow racing Ferrari F1 vs other cars you gotta manually edit entry list and config cfgs in server manager for anyone wondering how to avoid that error ;))

With slicks, I think the F2004 can hang with the modern cars pretty good. Even on straights, when the battery on modern cars runs out its on for the F2004, also the performance is constant throughout the whole race, no need to worry about saving battery power. With only 1 small addition of adding DRS to the F2004, now that I think about it, the car can probably even compete for podiums.

I really do belive the should absulutly regulate f1 car so they become smaller. I think the huge cars they drive now limit a lot of overtaking and wheel to wheel racing possibilities. If they manage to keep dirty air low as with 2022 cars or better + make the cars smaller.. oh boy. yes, I understand cars will become slower as cars will not be able to generate as much downforce but who cares? All the fun and excitment is about the competetion.

@@filipruml It is pretty simple to decide what to do under these circumstances... it's just a matter of "full wet tires" cope or do not cope with the amount of water on the track. They should have canceled the race only based on that criteria and nothing else...
