Is Forrest Gump Actually Bad?

Is it me or does it seem like Forrest Gump doesn’t get the respect it used to get?

Subscribed… but yea Forrest Gump is top 5-10 all time for sure. Shit makes me cry 2-3 times every time I see it. When he finds out he has a kid and does the “is he smart” bit. I mean come on.

For nostalgic reasons, I love Forrest Gump. But there's been a lot of talk on Jenny's character and if she was manipulative etc. And I'm not a fan of the bad language in the film. But cinematically it is a good movie.

I used to like Forest Gump. Sadly times have changed in life and I am not really a big fan of the movie now.

I loved Forest Gump. It was very representative of the time, the Vietnam debacle, us hippies. It was the best of times, it was the worst times............

My husband and I both thought Forrest Gump was way overrated, and have had no desire to see it as a second time. And bad Southern accents drive me nuts. In short, it's not a good movie. Titanic is another film that did not live up to the hyper hype.

I think I’m the only person I know who really does NOT LIKE Forest Gump! Can’t stand Tom Hanks, found it boring, depressing and cringey in some parts. Love your videos though! 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸👏🏻
