This might be irrelevant, but I wanted to give my opinion on how they should of taken the route of 'OG Fortnite' They should have created a new, separate GAME through the Epic Games launcher, and on Consoles, called something similar to, "Fortnite Legacy" with it's own servers, and everything being exactly the same to the original builds of Chapter 1 Fortnite, other than fixes to the builds that were needed back then. They should have just created a whole separate game for this. This would have opened up a larger landscape for mechanics like adding back the original graphics, and movement without trying to fix bugs between creating modes in the regular Fortnite game.

There are so many reasons that can be put together to explain why sweats ruin the OG Mode. For one, most sweats in the game have the privilege of having low to zero ping, meaning that their mommy and daddy pay for extremely expensive and high quality internet, so that they can kill a level 36 player in fortnite. Not everybody on the planet has the money to pay for good internet, they just want to have fun playing a game, and you clearly don't like that. I understand the newer movement (sprinting, mantling, sliding) in zero build considering there is no builds for cover so you need the movement to be able to get cover. Hopefully they'll fix it all this. They collect feedback in game after matches and such, so hopefully they listen to what the community has to say and change the movement, models, sounds, UI, SBMM, etc. No Duos makes it even worse. Can't play with your friend without having to go 2v4 or with randoms that leave instantly or drop on the other side of the map. I feel like season 2 might help fortnite OG a bit with the new POI's. They will make it possible for people to get loot without having to land with 1/4 of the hole lobby.

Might sound insane here but I think Epic didn’t add SBMM or bots so that there would be more conversation about the mode. Epic already had a bot lobbies mode in the files for OG, all epic had to do was enable it, and they did, today. Another suggesttion: Fortnite should reinterduce the old select screen, only now you can select between: Fornite, OG Fortnite and Save the world. If you select Fornite it should be as it is now. Youll be able to select every game mode and creative map, but the og mode. If you select OG Fortnite it should be the exact manue as it was to the according season the mode is in at the moment. Hence, all the portraits of the skins you own show the actual rarity, the shop should be simple and rotating daily, the mode selector should be very simple and even Solos, Duos and Squads should be differnt Modes (If they add LTM's back like "One shot", those would also pop up there like back in the day), and so on. I think you get what I mean. That way it would have a real OG feeling to it with every thing that belongs to it, while also preserving the modern day Fortnite for the younger audience. What do you Guys Think?

OG is traaaash with turbobuilding, new movement and visual sounds, now it feels like playing a chapter 1 custom map with all those mechanics. OG my a$$ Not gonna lie, really disappointed. Rushed home friday noon, started groupcall with friends from chapter 1 to squad up. First time we were looking forward to play Fortnite in a long time (besides OG 2023). what I personally think they should do, is take away ZB. Bring a mode of turbo-building off, and make building and editing have its old delay. This will take away all of that fast editing and cranking, and make the game feel even more OG than it's. This will be a mode focused on the real OGS, the ones that want to come back and actually play and have fun like they used to. Whenever I play builds of OG, majority of the time i'm dying to absolute tryhards that wear that superhero skin, or the catwoman. Having those players play the game is fine, just that 's another reason to why there should be another mode for the people that came back to experience what they did back then.

I loved fortnite but it lost it's personality. It used to be this fun cartoony gun Gane where you can build in a cool way, now it's just how quickly people can edit and how many collabs epic can add in a season. Epic's decision to add back double pump was cool, because many people loved it and cared about it, but if they can bring that back, surely they can make the movement the original? The models? Clearly they dont care. If people really want it to go back to OG then epic need to actually listen and make it fully OG. Epic need to remove turbo build in OG like people are asking for.

The third game mode should remove first shot accuracy and bring back old bloom. It would have the old movement to keep the pacing nice and calm. Then to remove turbo builds they need to make it similar to how they nerfed the double pump by making it at least a 0.5 or 1 second cool down between each build, because the sweats would find a way to overcome it with macros. It would also entice people to actually take time to build forts (que title card) since you can't make a full box in a literal fraction of a second anymore. And just as the cherry on top, a setting to have the old UI. I think this is what a lot of people imagine when they think of OG Fortnite and I'm sure this gamemode would have equally as many players. If this was added, it would be perfect. Edit: And keep the weird new epic and gold rarity models out of OG + BRING BACK PURPLE TAC!!!

The issue is that every new gamemode has more players within the first 1-2 days and then it drops like in every other game on steam for example. Totally normal. But the big drop could also mean that players only tested it but felt the new C6S1 is better because its newer and has more stuff to offer so they keep playing that instead of OG. And the last reason will be the sweats in OG mode.

The biggest problem is how broken all the weapons are. Yes I get it. It's OG and they want to keep the damage stats the same. But come on man. We're getting beamed by gray pistols, and one shot from gray tactical shotguns. It feels like you cannot fight back at all. If you get hit even once down goes all your health. Even in Zero Builds with the 50 extra shield doesn't help the issue. You always have to run. There is no fighting back. Even the best of players if you get hit once, that's it. Everything needs a serious nerf.

Yeah just remove turbo build and add back the og movement and its all fixed. Yeah it might be hard for content creators to jump around from c6 to OG, but its supposed to be OG OG Ps, imo the double pump could easily work in the modern FN as well.
