I am not saying gold is currently the better buy over silver, but trading my silver for gold is my long term game plan. Nothing wrong with buying gold now if you can, to me gold is the ultimate store of wealth.

Also nice pickup on the gold. Just got my first gold this week. 1/4 liberty 2016. Love it paid a premium though. Paying only 5 to 7 pct over spot right now vs 20 to 100 pct on silver! Am convinced gold is better long term but am buying both. Just picked up 5 rolls of junk washington qtrs this afternoon for 13.5x spot. Thats the lowest ive been able to find for purchase. Still Works out to $18.75 oz not cheap. Thats why i still love to roll hunt in bulk. Will buy 10 to 15 boxes at a time and enjoy watching live streams or videos like yours while i smoke a cigar in the garage (maybe some scotch) and the fam has gone to bed. Nothing beats 1x spot!!! :) we had a half box deliver 24 silvers last week. Best one ever. Also love that stack. You have way more than me!

What was spot at when you purchased? I still need to pickup a 1/20th, 1/4 and half ounce maple leaf. I have the 1g, 1/25th and 1/10th as well as the 1 ounce ones so far. For me it's all a matter of having the right premium. Great to see you add gold to your stack.

Silverholic Premium is definitely a factor for what I buy, getting the best price is more important to me than what I buy. Thanks I was glad to add these to my stack for sure! I believe it was somewhere in the $1680 range.

It’s tempting to trade silver for gold right now due to the physical GSR being about 70-1. However I also consider my Gold like a “made man” welcome to the family sort of coin lol

Big TX Bullion I would recommend getting one, good community on there. I’m in San Antonio, only been to one show this year there was supposed to be another but the virus happend. Yankee and SD are good guys. Out of 20 purchases I make I would say 5, but there are really good deals on there occasionally just have to keep an eye out.

Silverholic This is very good point, to me it’s more of a judge of character. Also just read their profile and check their followers. A lot of coin shops sell on their Instagram, they are a safe bet.

@@pappabear4977 Well... what is a deputable dealer. If a private seller has a perfect track record going back a long way, are they less trustworthy than an actual business? My issue is that it's hard to verify their track record. If there is a way to do it then it makes the purchase much easier for me.

Tough to get gold? All the major dealers have gold. The premiums aren’t so bad. I’d never buy gold from Instagram. Never.

Iron Cross I stated it’s not as hard to get gold, but still not as easy as it was. I’m good, I will pass on 1/10 ounce eagles for 250 from apmex. As with any bullion purchase you need to be cautious, if it seems too good to be true then it probably is. Thanks for the comments!
