Weighs more Slower than an mt09 More parts = More fluids in maintenance More parts that can break in case of a crash. And its an airodynamic mess, and that combined with the extra weight = more fuel usage. Its not more comfortable than a tracer (i rode both) so the only thing it has is... It feels safer?.. And i say this as a question, because in the dry i had no difference in safety feel... Maybe its like that in the wet, but i don't buy a bike just on that point.

Yes it feels safer. I rode one in the wet and it was great, much more security at the front. It moves the edge of the front grip envelope away

So the BS starts as soon as 2:00...🤦‍♂️ You do Not get increased grip from having two tires. You get increased grip from the 100 extra pounds Over the front tires. Friction + Weight = Grip. This is basic high school knowledge. It's physics 101. What you get is the illusion of extra grip. Place a 100 pond wight on the handlebar and you'll feel the grip of the Niken. You get potential increase of traction from having an extra wheel to keep you in contact with the ground should one of them fail. However, this does nothing compared to a single tire if the single tire doesn't hit slippery material. It is Only the extra weight placed over the front that gives you better grip at the cost of agility and acceleration. Please stop spreading false information. At least read up on it first.

I test rode this bike on Yamaha days and it sucks lol. First of all it’s heavy, slower then the mt09 and it’s 10g’s more then mt09, oh ya you gotta pay for extra tire every 2 years. You’re way better off getting the mt09. I honestly don’t know why Yamaha went this route.
