You are very talented, learning greek is very difficult and the fact that you managed to learn it in just 14 days is really impressive. I am a greek learning english and you have really inspired me to actually become more serious about learning english. You also mentioned that you like to listen to music as a form of learning a language, some greek songs i like are το μέτριμα, η καρδιά πονάει οταν ψηλώνει, εσύ είσαι η αιτία που υποφέρω and ανισόπεδη ντίσκο. I wish you the best!!

Im from Greece 😊 First, you look so beautiful :D Second your English are good for only 2 weeks but i think u had to do a bit more practice on how to pronounce some letters.Your accent was a bit like Russian, so it was hard to understand exactly what you were saying. But it still amazing, it was cool challenge😆

Καλημέρα, Elizabeth! No, I don't speak Greek, but it has been on my bucket list - I love foreign languages, and speak several... I usually first bond with a language thru music (that's what led me to German during the pandemic 😄) but haven't found too much Greek music I like. Open to suggestions!!! OMG, I assumed that your channel must have *millions* of subscribers, and practically fell off my chair when I saw 172 (173 with me 😉) - wow, I'm witnessing the birth of a new channel : congratulations, and best luck! Just like yourself in the video, I often ponder whether to concentrate on the language I already studied (French, Brazilian, German) or branch out into new ones... What's the deal with Italian, btw? I'm bilingual in it. I, too, watched that Greek film you referred to : imo, it has 100% the feel of many older FRENCH films... just a Greek version of them; it cracked me up so much!! But I picked up a few words from it. It's so funny that in Greek "Ναί" (which sounds like "no") actually means Yes! Here in the San Francisco area, there are some fabulous Greek festivals - amazing vibes... Your final presentation is impressive! Intriguingly, I keep hearing a "Russian" sound to it... I don't know if that's in the Greek language, or a carryover from your previous exposure to Russian (also on my bucket list, lol) And you're right about the Greek alphabet: it's fairly easy, and I'd add that many of the letters are familiar from common math or science usage. Well, I applaud you for presenting the adventure of exploring new languages, especially to the monolingual culture of the US... and congratulate you on your openness to show yourself in a natural state (no makeup) alongside being all polished as a glamour model ; always being "too perfect" is less interesting, imo, and variability is appealing. And, on a similar note, the fear of not "doing it perfectly" is a major block in taking the plunge with a new foreign language! ευχαριστώ! I'm so hungry for Greek food now... 😂😂😂

Hello there! 2 weeks it actually a very sort period of time to learn a language, especially greek. And I don't want to disencourage you but I couldn't understand 95% of what you said...and I am native greek 😅 I have no intention to be mean or anything, and I don't know how far you progressed on grammar or if you can actually read and understand everyday phrashes but your accent is so off that it does not sound like greek at all. If you wanna keep learning, you have to spend more time improving your accent and pay more attention to intonation. Good try anyways tho! ✌

Μπράβο Elizabeth και πολύ καλή πρόοδος έχεις με τα ελληνικά. Ελπίζω να συνεχίσεις έτσι. Criticism: Look at the accent of the word all the time, that's the letter you have to stress. Every word that has more than 1 syllable has it, take advantage of it . For example you said ας ρίξουμε μια μάτια, With an accent on the first α. That is wrong since the stress falls on the second syllable like here να ρίξουμε μια ματιά. Μία ματιά = a look Τα μάτια = The eyes I'm very impressed by your progress and that was the only major mistake you made, which again is very impressive. Καλη χρόνια!

The greek lanaguge is the most meaningful in all of Europe because all the Roots of the European countries tie to Greece due to greek(Hellenic) being the First and most complex European lanaguge Studying Greek will make you understand words better and it's one of the little lanaguges that increase your iq
