We own a 2017 and the tow tone paint and fender flairs being part of the actual panels was one of the things we WANTED and why we did NOT want a 2020+ model. We also like the interiors of the 2011-2016 and 2017-2019 more than the new ones. Materials feel higher quality and we just like the looks better. I WISH we could find a 2017-2019 with low miles, and the 6R140 is just about perfect. An 8R140 would be ideal IMO but such transmission is not available, so 6 it is.

@ or 3500$ to fix myself. I have a disaster prevention kit, which lowers my bill to only $1,000 for just a pump. With no disaster kit and shop labor it is only 11k max

Same with our 2000 7.3, 25 yrs old, 296k miles. Never left us stranded. It has not been expensive to keep up with maintenance.

Or better yet, avoid a diesel engine.
