thank you for your reviews and insights as a young designer this is very refreshing to see an true opinion being formed

Thanks a lot for this video! I loved it!!! The big companies running the fashion business need to change their business models. It isn't accepted that a luxury brand doesn't work with good fabrics and artisans to develop its pieces. They need to care about the quality of their products instead of the quality of their profit, even though I know this part is important for a business. However, we consumers need to be more responsible for our choices. Less is more and quality over quantity is always the best choice!!

a few thoughts… for me, ignorance, entitlement and influencer culture is what has led to our “disposable fashion” environment. lvmh needs to let galliano have the remaining 10-15 years of career where he seemed happiest and did his most creative work… at dior. jan jan van essche is amazing and criminally slept on.

i know so many people who cannot tell the diff between a well-made dress and a fast produced dress in terms of 1) fabric quality, 2) sewing and stitching and 3) general design and how the replicate dumbs down the design to nothing. its really sad to watch people think its a dupe or the same thing and how people are offended by a price. for us in america, its more about lack of education of design, material, labor, how things are sourced and how the world works :(

11:11 To short thinking. Dior isn’t seen as a fashion brand, more as a luxury brand. These brands focus less on innovation, more on heritage, timeless high quality products. I wouldn’t be worried about their future

Do you have a video highlighting some smaller brands with better quality?
@FashionRoadman19 күн бұрын
I have loads of videos on my channel highlighting smaller designers that make good quality products but the focus on the videos aren’t necessarily on the quality of their clothes but rather their design philosophies. For me to make a video that’s worthwhile talking about the quality of a specific brand I’d need the actual designer to run me through specific processes the brand uses + have enough experience with the brands to be able to endorse their quality confidently.

There's rumours it will be John Galliano who goes to Dior. The history, the chemistry and the potential makes me want to call my ex...😂😂😱
@FashionRoadman19 күн бұрын
The two people that have been linked with Dior recently are John Galliano & JW Anderson. It seems like JW Anderson is the front runner right now. It all comes with the odd assumption that Maria Grazia Chiuri is leaving Dior though.

I’m going to be honest as much as I would love to see him return to deal but considering his past history, I don’t think it’ll be a good idea considering that it will be used against him time and time again and besides he would be better off doing couture for balenciaga. He could revive that and will gain more resources with help from Demna

@aaronjanlistanco19 күн бұрын
@FashionRoadman wow.. the Meier's are underrated/underappreciated designers.. I like what they're doing at JIL SANDERS.. I think if they are really going at LOEWE at first (of course also me) will be gonna becoming shock/unfamiliar of the changes versus what Anderson doing at LOEWE

Maria Grazia really understands what the Chinese consumers want, and it's those consumers who drive the market, and the designs for that market. I don't think JW Anderson understands that market at all.

Dior overall is crap. Like why are they selling tie dyed tank tops that look like the dime a dozen tanks you see in any commercial California retail store? I can’t. The only thing I’ve sold to my clients, I’m a stylist, is the classic tailored pieces that they’ve been selling forever and only when I need that type of thing. Dior is boring and irrelevant.

I don't see JW Anderson doing good at Dior, Loewe been doing horrible the past 2 years, and he overthinks at times, and simple pieces at his brand looks better than Loewe pieces, and Dior been doing horrible for the past 4 years, and known for having cheap materials, he's better off focusing on his brand, I rather Galliano focus on his brand and help with Gucci, and we need designers and stylists who will ban the Kardashians and Jenners
