James Gunn said that he had only done 1 day of reshoots on his last two movies combined. His last two movies being GOTG vol. 3 and SS, he made those movies when he was still beholden to the executives at both Disney and Warner Bros. so I don’t think it’s necessarily all because James himself is now the executive at DC, but more-so that he’s just a very efficient, well-prepared filmmaker.

​@@LHollanHonestly, it is their own publicized blurb about their take on Kraven, so he's not wrong about them departing from "who" Kraven is; however, I will say that for what it is, I'm completely cool with departing from the motivations of the comic Kraven to bring us this movie version (wherher it'll be good is a different story of course). We also have to stop thinking of these characters as the villains who will go up against Spidey. Until further notice these characters are not in the context of Spidey so the anti-hero treatment fits this world, and lends to a motivation to hunt humans because they're morally corrupt.

I've been saying for a while that of the three SONY/Marvel movies coming out this year 'Kraven The Hunter' has the best chance of being a hit. Even before seeing any trailers, just because I don't think Aaron Taylor-Johnson would stay involved otherwise. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is his first major solo leading role, so this could be his break-out role as a leading actor.

Kraven looks like it might be a good movie about a Kraven cosplayer, but not a good Kraven Movie. This means it'll be a generally okay action movie that's too weird for the normies to show up, and isn't sufficiently Comic Book to get the nerds to show up and praise it word of mouth. And hot take, but all these shots of the actor on all fours doing animal movement while flying on a wire just don't look good. We need to stop using that trope until someone figures out how to do it without it being completely cringe.

I don't think that Kraven is going to be good it's going to bomb because I think that people are tired of these spinoff movies that Sony is doing and I also think that Venom 3 is going to bomb as well people are giving up on this stupid Sony Spider verse I think at the end of the day Marvel needs to get full control of these characters and handcuff Sony I don't believe in Kraven or Venom 3 I never watched any of the movies that they made except for the animated Spider-man movies I don't give two shits about Kraven or Venom 3. The trailer reminds me of every Michael Bay Transformers movie by being great then the movies come out and all except for the 1st one are all garbage and make no sense, the Kraven trailer didn't sell me and doesn't tell you what the story is about Rhino in the trailer looks like a knockoff of the Amazing Spider-man 2. At the end of the day if both Kraven and Venom 3 completely underperformed I think that Feige is going to talk to Sony and get full control of these characters and let Sony lose all the rights of Spider-man and all of the characters.
