Yes and no. Yes if you don’t work or commute to work. Other than that, traffic is horrible getting in and out during rush hour and tourist season.

@@Th3lastsong June to August and again in December. Late September/early October great time to visit. Still warm enough to enjoy the beaches and places aren’t nearly as crowded. If you got kids many places offer discounts for the kids at that time. If you time it right you can try out restaurant week where participating restaurants offer 3 course meals for a reduced cost. Nice restaurants to. Just look up San Diego restaurant week. Hope that helps.
