Of course context and definitions matter and are so important here. Theotokos is about Jesus and proclaims His nature, etc. Unfortunately some take it too far one way or the other.

Mary is the mother of Yahweh become Yeshua God in the flesh. She is NOT the mother of Yahweh (God). Yahweh has no mother nor does he have a Queen of Heaven.

Isaiah 7 and 9 talk a young woman becoming pregnant and a child given to us being called Eternal Father, does Eternal Father mean yes Mary is the mother of God

Of course Mary is the Theotokos or mother of God unless you want to be a Nestorian dividing up Christ into two persons which is heresy.

Let me clarify my point: We already know that the Council of Ephesus confirmed the complete divinity of Christ and the oneness of His person by stating that Mary bore God in her womb. Mary is referred to as the "mother of God" because, as the mother of Jesus, who is God, she holds this title. The Word was incarnated (John 1:14), and Mary gave birth to Him. It is essential to differentiate the term Theotokos from "mother of God," as there exists a nuanced yet significant distinction. The phrase "Mother of God" may be misinterpreted as suggesting that Mary was the source or origin of God. I affirm and instruct that God is everlasting and that Jesus Christ possesses a pre-existent, divine nature. The notion that Mary is the mother of God, implying she was the origin of God, predates God, or is an integral component of the Godhead, is unequivocally unbiblical. This is what I was referring to. 🙂
