Hero Guide Puzzles and Survival: 2 Star Heroes

With the intent of covering all the heroes for Puzzles & Survival eventually, I wanted to put out a quick video covering the basics of what you need to know about 2 star heroes. These are the first heroes you get in game but quickly can get forgotten. It is important to level these heroes up to at least level 31, and max enhancement when you can so that you can utilize all of the passive economy boosts. These heroes might not be super useful in campaign or arena once you start getting 5* heroes but I can assure you having them maxed out will help in many ways that you might not see readily. When I started and didn't know what I was doing, i traded in my 2* heroes for frag for higher star heroes. But eventually, I had to rebuild them because they are still worth having for the passive skills. You can trade in the heroes for frag if they are only useful for buffing lairs/zombie attacks, because they won't do anything for you once you move on to higher star heroes.

Very true. I still recommend keeping all heroes. The boosts might be small but useful.

@@ValenceRing If there wasn't a limit on how many queues you can have, I'd fully agree. But since you can only have 5 queues, by the time you have all your 4 and 5 star heroes running in raids or attacks, you are out of queues to use the 3 nd 2 star heroes that boost troop stats. So, those heroes are basically just taking up room in your hero inventory. There MIGHT be some occasion to use them for Speaker Trap..but other than that..not really.

I don't disagree. But there is a good period of time when you can have 5 queues and may need one or two. But it is totally a personal choice.

While I agree with the premise there's no such thing as "taking up room in your hero inventory" There's no cap so may as well keep them all. The passive boosts are better than nothing.

Depends on who you have and at what strength. The obvious choice is heroes that have troop boosts and not troop type specific boosts. (So Requiem is a good choice while Phoenix is not). That being said, if you have your main troop type heroes that are really strong then they can be used until you have stronger troop generic heroes. So many people will have a strong Ulrik since he is fairly easy to obtain (or Fox). If they are really strong using them will be best. The good news is both days have an unlimited number of attempts for free so I recommend trying different configurations of your strongest heroes and see what happens. Change out 1 hero at a time to see if the damage is improved or worsened. In this way you can evaluate the best heroes for you to use as it will vary for each individual. Ultimately troop boost heroes are the best. My best lineup is Meyers, Marlowe, Mars, requiem and nam hayul.

Cheers. Yeah that's what I have been doing. I have about 10 heroes I reset and rebuild regularly to get the best use out of them for different things. Req, Meyers, Marlow, Mars and zephyr are my current ruins line up have been experimenting but the results have been frustrating. My fox is +6 to zephyr +5 but he gets better % which is confusing to me.

So for ruins it seems a bit counter intuitive in the respect that fighter based heroes seem to boost percentages better than other troop types. I use ulrik for the same effect.

I only got my purple and gold 2 stars hero at level 31, the rest is at 11 cause their first economy skill only matters long term, hope they do something about those thousands of low level tier evolving book and convert them to the next level or can be convert into something else

Still stuck on 250. Haven't beaten it yet. Working on a video soon on the new update. Been a bit held up but trying to get back on track.

Hello, I played puzzle and survival lol And I have a player that is leaving unfinished tiles and sometimes attacks other people’s bases. My friend told me about this problem and she is thinking that the player is a bot because he doesn’t talk to anyone that sends him mails. I also been scouting him and he’s been leveling up at a odd pace. What should I do?

They ones that have passive skills are useful to buff and gathering, building, healing, and rss generators. The ones that are all troop based will be useless..

The troop ones can still be used for quite some time as their enhancement level will be high enough that their boosts will exceed some other heroes you may have. Usually not super useful you're right but I used 2 star heroes for over 6 months of gameplay.

They can be used as a frag for any 5* hero. So they are "super" frags. (There are a few exceptions of course).
