Ordered Watch 10. Upgrading from 4. Upgraded to iPhone 15 last year from 8. Upgraded to MBP M1 in 2022 from MBP 2015. Device upgrade cycle went every year or two to 5 years at least mostly driven by wear and tear. Tech has seriously plateaued. Also happy in a way for keeping more of my moolah in my pocket.

For me. The watch 10 is worth the upgrade from my 7. I like the bigger screen. It looks great, and is Apple state of the art. That's good enough. I swim, hike, run, boat, golf, train, renovate, garden, and more. I'm retired and super active. My watch was looking a little tired. I track all the health metrics. I sync my body fat scale and blood pressure cuff with the "Health App".

I'll be upgrading from series 4 to 10. The only thing is that i might not care for the screen size. For some reason i still got the bigger screen lol. But i guess i can always switch it out. The reason i didnt get the ultra is cause it's way too chunky.

I upgraded to the 15 Pro max last year from a 12 Pro. Now I’m upgrading to the Satin Black Apple Watch Ultra 2 from a 1st gen Apple Watch SE 44 millimeter….. The Apple Watch 10 doesn’t appeal to me at all….

There is the Apple watch capability to call 911 if you take a fall or are involved in an car accident is the most attractive capability it offers, second is the Sleep Apnea monitoring/alerting capability, That's valuable.

My first night with a CPAP, I got around 5-6 hours of sleep and felt better than any night of 8+ hours of sleep without it. Giving people a little heads-up that there might be a health issue present that they aren't aware of, is great. The battery life of the Ultra 2 has me eyeing it up to replace my SE, just a little upgrade.

Titanium is not lighter than aluminum. In fact if you look at the specs on the Apple website, you’ll see that the Titanium watches are about 18% heavier than the Aluminum models.

To be honest I felt disappointed with Series 10. It's the 10th model being released, and I feel they could have done more significant changes / released more features. I'm not saying the news of the Series 10 are bad, they are good, I just feel like it's a "regular next generation increment" and not a huge one to celebrate that. I have a Series 4, I most certainly will upgrade but only because my battery life is at 77% which is becoming more and more of an issue. I wanted a design change in a more squared way like the most recent iPhones since the 12. There was no update to the Ultra this year besides the color, but I might just get it just because it's a different design. For those who had more than 1 Apple Watch, do you have that "I have a new product/watch" feeling when you upgrade your Apple Watch? Asking because I've only ever had the Series 4.

My watch tells me when the noise environment is too loud it’s one of the best features when you wouldn’t normally have a device to let you know when things get loud

I do a lot of audio work and I know that the best volume for doing that and hearing what you need to hear is around 80db. I have the db meter complication on my watch face and check it often as I work. Volume creep is a real thing.

if you don't use a screen protector get the titanium for the sapphire glass, the titanium is also more robust will last forever, the aluminum is fine though if you are careful and use a screen protector or have apple care, then it's not an issue. Keep in mind you will also get cellular capability with titanium version which might come in handy!

I have a series 6 and am thinking of upgrading to 10. The ultra 2 seems too big. I have noticed my battery time is decreasing to 10 hours but I do a lot of workouts that tax the battery, Greeting form Huntington Wv. Cheers

Very underwhelming upgrade for being the 10th generation of the device, wouldn't recommend anyone to upgrade if you have the Series 7 or newer.

You really can't. The Apple Watch will detect it, but you have to go to a doctor to get it diagnosed and treated.

Guns and Roses, saw them last year at Giant Stadium. Have sleep apnea as well. No fun. Not sure how a watch helps with sleep apnea. U need a C pap machine, not a smart watch. The C Pap machine gives I all this information and then some

Nah not worth it from S9 incremental update. The only nice thing is the higher priced titanium and 1mm thinner. Apple Watch s9 is getting sleep apnea feature as well and already charges fast enough and same battery life

If you don’t take advantage of the workout platform, nor ever launch an your own workouts “sporty type person” 😒the series 10 have no value for you. WatchOS’ improvements offer too much accountability, notice the absence of discussion on the vitals and workout ratings. The comment in the presentation crowing about the Ultra and the Ironman was virtue signaling to the intended audience. Like the point Jess Karp, Jenna Rainy, Danny Gregory and sketchbook skool frequently make you need to participate. Take out the workout app, like a $5 blank journal, and do something once the green countdown finishes. It’s a participatory question… Molly’s Chair Yoga classes for example.

Getting ultra or series 10 my series 7 is on 49 battery health and the watch’s body has colour scratched two dents and some minor scratches on the screen I think it’s worth upgrading

Answering your question about whether the Apple Watch Series 10 is worth buying: I wouldn’t recommend it at the moment. If you have an iPhone 12 or earlier, it might be worth considering an upgrade. Otherwise, it might be best to wait and see what Apple has in store for us next year. Right now, the Apple Watch isn't a significant upgrade either. While Apple’s current features could improve with future software updates, waiting for next year’s event might be the better option.
