@jedr.34942 жыл бұрын
That was a good shot!! Thats why i love everyday driver videos. They put so much into production to get all these awesome different shots from above and they try really hard to capture speed. However this channels approach is much much simpler. Maybe to simple honestly if you ask some. The most effort these guys put into a video is clamping a GoPro to a street sign and driving by at speeds so fast a viewer cant see anything but a blur of a car shooting past the frame. I personally think they lack effort and motivation nowadays. They think sitting in a car talking with a front facing camera the entire time with some b roll thrown in is going to keep us entertained. Its damn hard to keep the audience entranced to a video. Its either gotta be like a movie with the production levels to keep us watching or be something so insane like whistlin diesel destroying things with no production value. These guys try to do the lowest amount of production while not being super entertaining. I think thats why they have 1mil subscribers but only get 100k views. They dont do a whole lot extra to keep us entertained. I love them but I think the may be getting complacent with their position. They have heaps of great car knowledge but how do you entertain? Hopefully this can be taken as constructive criticism. If Matt had a better atitude that would help to. His complaining about small issues isnt what we want to hear.

It sounds so good for a "production" vehicle. I daily drove a built supercharged Elise with a titanium catless exhaust. Sure I smiled on start up and through underpasses but it was a labor of love. Even with how raw this car is, I'm sure from a comfort and daily driving standpoint (if you so choose) is worlds above my old Elise. I'd daily one, but its out of my price range.

As a general rule, a naturally aspirated combustion engine will lose 3% of its power for every 1,000 ft of elevation gain. If you have 500 horsepower at sea level by the time you get to 5,000 feet of elevation your engine is making 425 horsepower. So you were down 75hp and it was still blazing down the road. This is one of my favorite cars. I had a 2007 WRX STI which was fun in the Canyons, I then had a 2008 C6 Z06 vette followed by a 2012 Camaro SS/RS supercharged LS3 6MT 667whp. The Camaro was a TANk in the corners, too heavy. I bought a civic sport sedan 6MT with the naturally aspirated port injected engine and manual gearbox as a daily. Only has 5500 miles after 15 months. I have 32k$ saved up thus far, I can’t afford a new Porsche Cayman but I plan on getting a cayman next. Mid engined, beautiful styling, it’s something I’ve always wanted to have. This GT4RS is literally a dream machine, they finally put the good engine inside that phenomenal chassis. I can only imagine how fun this was in the canyons. Great video as always boys 👍🏻

It took me several decades and 18 cars to realize just how much more important light weight is to power, but I finally learned my lesson when I traded a rwd 228i for my current M240i xDrive (previous gen).
