I have the same guitar. I bought it new in 2014. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE mine as well. Tone for days on end. Excellent Video. Thank You and Rock On.

I’m glad you explained the 120 year anniversary, I thought I slept 50 years, was quite a shock

BTW, what do you think of the recently updated Studio? You probably haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but you've probably seen the specs. Do you think its price is justified?

DEAR LORD NO!!! In Canada it is $2,700…. Lesser specs than the original studio that was $2,250… and even worse $1,700 pre-pandemic! It’s a BIG step in the wrong direction in my opinion. Cheers -Ryan

@@Crypticmaskguitar Yeah, it's almost $2400 here in Europe, it's insane. It's funny, but I was just about to purchase my first Gibson, but now.... pokerface, lol. Generally speaking, I like the new red model, the ebonite fretboard is pretty cool, but... I doubt it's enough of an argument for such a gigantic price increase for a guitar with a satin finish. In a music store of a neighboring city there seems to be the last studio of the previous generation in ebony, and even though I like the new version better, it seems to make sense to save over half a thousand dollars by buying the last of the previous generation.

There was a point in the 90s where Ebony was used on the fretboards for their lower priced guitars... It shouldn't bump the price. At first it seemed like they were taking a step in the right direction with making a more affordable version of their Modern series... some small requests from some more modern players... but THAT PRICE!!! It's a mistake. Cheers -Ryan
