I really really want to see the other teams perspective and what they went through. Of course it would be annoying to see a lot of the same scenes play out with the same characters but it would be very interesting none the less

I couldn’t agree more! Half of my questions after the show ended were based around that team and who they were. I think it’s kinda obvious that they were cheating in some way because they knew things that they shouldn’t have. But why? How? What’s the point? Just to win at a game? There will be a season 2 so I hope they explore some of these questions

Its strange right? I hear a lot of hate about Kai and I just don't really see it. I think part of the hatred comes from adults watching a show aimed more for kids that doesn't cater for them specifically. I really enjoyed both seasons and am sad we wont see a season 3, so lose ends will forever be part of this series.

It's not perfect, but the mystery kept my interest throughout the season, I agree that Kai was unnecessarily unbearable. I enjoyed. I do not think a second season is a good idea, in the first season we had no idea of anything and the only way to know something else was to keep watching, everything was new, in a second season we would know that they are inside a video game and that makes Let the main mystery be lost.

I think they COULD make a second season, there are plenty of ideas they can expand upon here. Even do a new twist where it wasn't all a game but something ELSE (as is hinted at in the last episode) But if they don't I'm happy with what we have.

While I acknowledged the problems with the first season, I remember applauding when it ended with that final "Here we go". SPOILERS AHEAD: Many people didn't like the fact that it was a videogame, but I loved it. And I also asked myself "why the memory wipe?", but then we see it's kind of a TV show of sorts, so I guess it's for drama purposes? I don't know, I still enjoyed it and have re-watched it many times. Season 2 though.....

It's such a good season and while I did have lots of questions at the end it isn't a BAD thing to have them. I just didn't know if we'd ever get a season 2 to answer them which bummed me out but we did and some of them were answered. I liked Season 2 for different reasons to season 1. But I think the mystery is far better in season 1 and because of that it's the stronger season. I made a review on season 2 if you haven't seen it which shows my thoughts on it at the time but I'm still eager to hear what you think about season 2

@@Lytane Late answer, but here we go (SPOILERS AHEAD). Season 2 for me had way too much information and plot points, and it was also trying to answer too many things, which many of them were just put on screen for a second and then we move on. I felt like I was on a race to the finish line, not being able to stop and think about what I just saw and learned. In season 1, for example, when Adam is injured and he's on the verge of death, we have time to see how Mira and Kai react to losing their friend and leader (like when Mira starts asking questions Adam would answer in one way or another, and Kai is unable to answer them and panics). And once they've let the fact that Adam is gone for the time being sink in, they're able to stand back up and continue. We don't have that in season 2: anything that needs a moment to think is rushed completely so the next plot point can start. And then the characters accept their fate way too easy, like "yeah ok, we're not real and we're trapped in here, cool". I'm sorry, but they still have the mentality of a real human being, they still think they're the real deal, why are they accepting this life changing fact as if it was nothing? So yeah, I've re-watched season 1 many times, but I only watched season 2 once.

I only saw season one, and I will say that the show had a very interesting concept, but it was executed poorly. The whole mystery of what the heck was going on was really intriguing, and honestly that was the only thing that got me through the show. I tried rewatching season one recently and I could barely get through the first episode. The fact that it’s aimed towards a much younger audience just makes it way more boring (it also doesn’t make sense, I feel like this kind of concept should be aimed at a teen audience, maybe even tween). It relies heavily on character tropes and boring dialogue. So many times the characters were just standing around talking about what they needed to do instead of actually doing it. This became EXTREMELY frustrating, especially when they are supposed to be running for their lives (sometimes they’d even just stand around and make jokes, and it’s like just work on opening the door instead of joking around). And Kai.... I think we can all agree Kai is the worst. The writers tried so hard to make him the comedic relief, but that miserably failed and he ended up being just a jealous jerk who wanted to be the leader and call the shots even if he didn’t have a better plan (like, seriously, stop worrying about that. It doesn’t matter who came up with the plan as long as everyone gets out safe, you selfish jerk). Honestly, I didn’t mind the animation, and I quite like the art style. It was just the writing that really took it downhill. I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to watching season 2.

Like I said in my review I didn't find Kai all that bad. A little annoying but I don't know, I just don't find him as annoying as many others. I do agree that he was selfish and a jerk but so was Adam which could be frustrating as well. I would strongly urge you to watch season 2. The pacing is about the same but the new mystery is good. They even fixed up Kai making him less annoying and more in line with the comedic relief. The best part though is it IS aimed at an older audience here with very mature matters within the show. In most ways it's a step up from the first season.

I agree with lytane, kai is annoying, but I feel like it's just teenagers being teenagers. The whole dialogue was meant to sound like a buncha confused teenagers who are most of the time just annoying and cringy. But feel like this show was aware of that, or maybe I was aware of that so I could look over it and see it as nostalgia of my highschool days.

the other team new it was a video game so quickly because Vanessa had a contact lens put in which blocked the game developers from chipping into her memory so she knew it was a game and how to complete it. It's the contact lens that caused the glitch in the game also.

I enjoyed this series a lot, the mystery element and the character dynamic between Adam, Mira and Kai kept me hooked. The complaint that people had about Kai's personality and behaviour is something that confuses me. A jokester to me is someone who's the most light-hearted and observant of everyone's emotions and they always make sure to keep the atmosphere happy enough for the group to stay together regardless of the odds they are against because they are often the quickest ones to pickup that splitting the group is a bad idea. I don't think Kai was really meant to be the jokester but more like the comic relief who is cowardly and pessimistic and these type of characters do tend to complain the most especially in these scenarios. What's so wrong about having a character who tries to keep things a little happy but has a hard time doing so himself, I mean they had no memory of who they are or why they're there so if anything at least one of them would be panicking. *SPOILERS BELOW* That ending had me going "wow, that's pretty cool!" the whole idea that they were in a game show playing a virtual game for the audience's entertainment is something I don't really see very often nowadays. Here's my take on those answers: 1: What was the point of this game? It'a a game show no other point there than to win and get prizes and it looks to me like they win prizes since they were given a trophy. 2: It seems stupid that they lost their memories, what if neither team figure out how to escape? Looks to me like it's just a simple game gimmick to raise the tension level and keep the audience in the show hooked. 3: What if both teams lost and died, what happens if someone died did they have lives? Since this is a game show I highly doubt they would make the consequences too dark and severe, I think they would probably all just logout of the game. As to whether or not they have lives that's hard to tell since both teams lost their memories and thought the whole thing was real so they made absolutely sure not to die and honestly if someone died and was revived that would have been the biggest reveal as to whether or not they were in a game so I'm actually glad they kept that mystery up until the end. Judging by how the host was panicking at first then started being that excitable host when the game ended, it's possible that both teams losing in a glitched out game would be bad for the players and most of all the game show's ratings (well he IS a game show host XD). 4:What is up with the ending? Looks to me like the losing team didn't escape by themselves the glitch and it did affect them since they pretty much didn't logout until after Adam's team won. It seems like winning the game was the only sure fire way to escape that glitch. 5: How did the other team figure out the game so fast? They probably had more time to explore so by the time we see them they know at the very least more than the main characters. My only issue with this series is that they never followed through with Kai's resistance to electricity. That would have been such a useful element to apply for the fight with the dragon in electric form. I think the the people complaining about that type of ending don't generally like the whole "It was all a dream" scenario, they often say how that often ruins their immersion into the fantasy world setting or kills that element of the story entirely. Not sure how that works but oh well.

While it is some kind of game show I still don't know if there is anything nefarious going on. I mean I feel like there is and you can't trust anyone as that's what the show was leaning towards. Sure you can make some friends but that Host was never a friend so it still makes me wonder aside from a trophy why would you willlingly enter a game that could kill you. Willingly choose to lose all memory and be scared and chased by monsters for hours. I mean it's just a trophy. I agree with the reasoning behind if they died they'd probably just get logged out. The glitch though? I'm not too sure. It seemed like it wasn't part of the game but it also seemed like it WAS part of the game. A game where the players can't get out unless they win? Adds to the nefarious and dangerous tone I was talking about earlier. I think the Glitch was intentional, maybe fore ratings? As this was the first time they used it the host was worried. I don't know. Also the other team DIDN'T have more time in the world, they would have had the same amount as our heroes. I'm not sure where they started but they figure it out much faster than our heroes and even the first time we meet them they seem to be on a whole other level in terms of skill and knowledge. I think they knew more than they were letting on and I would love if the show delved further into it. @Unicorn Bunny I was put off by the real world switch as well. They all looked so odd!

This show had so much potential to be good but as it progressed it got less interesting, more predictable and the last episode was extremely cringy. I wouldn't reccomend in to anyone only because of the horrible ending. They're doing a season 2 and hopefully theyll scrap the live action idea

I think they should have sprinkled more of the final reveal throughout the story and had less obvious signs at the end. But for a show that’s targeted at a younger audience I do think it works. I personally didn’t like the live action part as well BUT if it turns out to be another fake out in season 2 that might be really cool. The live action was all fake might redeem it for you as well lol

Kai was so awful that I stopped watching and read the wikipedia article, then skimmed the other eps then skipped to the last episode. He is just the worst kind of character and I couldn't stand him. He literally ruined the show so yeah I would say he IS bad enough to ruin the show entirely.
