wouldn't it be a more accurate comparison to use new sticks for both? I don't get this
@winniecarl2 жыл бұрын
How can you make a valid comparison without matching the set-up spec ( static weight and balance)? It is the only way to get an accurate relevant impression.

I own both of them and they are different for sure. The banana one gives you more lift spin due to the open pattern string bed vs the new one I feel easier power but less arc on the ball which can be good or bad depending or your swing and what you're looking for. They are both great racquets anyway and you can get used to them if you stick with it for a few weeks. I have played tennis all my life pretty much and these are my favorite racquets ever. You can't go wrong with either. 💪🎾🔥

I love my Babalot bananas. I own both of them and cannot distinguish the difference. I own a Babalot babana Plus, (which adds another 10 grams to the weight, which I was not aware of). I would like to remove the Plus component inside so as to make it lighter to say no heavirt than 324 grams including dampener and grip cover. I love your YT videos as well. So informative and entertaining.

I have almost every generation of APD and PA, old PA are more spin and less accurate than 2023 version. 2023 seems add a little bit of power and control to it, and takes away some spin from it. I would say I totally fall in love with 2023 version now. I realized old version are too much spinning and i will have to sacrifice some opportunities for some easy flat hit instead of have to do a top spin for more socure. Now with 2023 these balls I can just use a flat hit for it, it will be very socure. And slightly not that much of spin actually helped me a lot, it brings me back some very powerful flat hit.

which one you recommend for a player that goes to the net constantly: pure aero 2023 or ezone100 2022? I like using powerful rackets
@djbradshaw33902 жыл бұрын
i think the feel and play difference is strictly due to the drill pattern .... the older one is over the top spin .... these rackets are great, but unless they are weighted the ball can often come off the string bed unpredictable

I just purchased new Pure Aero with RPM Blast 16 at 25kg. The frame is vibrating and buzzing a lot with just hitting with hand.. is this normal for this racket / new racket with poly strings? Or is it faulty.. i don't see any cracks.. Its giving me terrible elbow pain after just 1hr of playing..
@bobjeff6779 Жыл бұрын
Would think it's not normal. Also, RPM blast is a really stiff string, so that could contribute to the elbow pain. I would still get the racket checked because of the buzzing.
@vitormachado79 Жыл бұрын
Did you find out the reason for the buzzing? I have the same issue on mine

@@vitormachado79 its normal. It went away with couple hours of play

I tried this racquet today and it felt good to me. I am 43 yrs old NTRP 4.0 player with bit of elbow issue. I use Yonex ezone 98 with Gosen Sidewinder (a very soft poly). I really liked Babolat PA 2023. I would also like to try Wilson Clash 98, but there are no demo racquets for that. Hence asking you, i will only choose Wilson Clash for it's comfort and want to know your opinion between Babolat Pure Aero (RA 65) Vs Wilson Clash 98 V2 or 100 V2 pro (R 60) for my particular case. Can I make Pure Aero is soft by using softer strings and lower tension, coz i know that I liked it, not too sure about Wilson clash. I do like to put some spin on the ball and Babolat Pure Aero allowed me to to take bigger cut at the ball, the older version was not that great, tried that too. Spec with Wilson Clash 98 or 100 pro looks good because of the extra string 16x20, assuming that will give me more control. So a bit confused here, tough to make decision just based on specs :( Would appreciate a response @tennisspin

Thanks for the advice… I’m not sure wich one I get, and I should not even be this picky at my current level. But I’ll just get the one with the best price 😂

Add 2g at 10/2 and you gonna get a heavier swing, a little more power and stability, i think its better than add weitgh to 12hr.

Harry knows plenty of coaches. If he was able to correct his spasmodic forehand, he’d have done it years ago. He’s well beyond the point of being teachable.

I’m relatively new to tennis and trying to figure out what is my daily driver racquet. I have an Ezone 98, Ezone 100, head speed pro, tf 305 18x20, and head speed mp. What am I looking for in ‘the racquet’. Strings are different in them all but what criteria : feel am I looking for? I really wan to get to one racquet and buy a second as a backup. Help!
@Alberto_YT_2 жыл бұрын
Are you serious?
@rds46292 жыл бұрын
any of those racquets would be great to use. Most tennis players benefit from consistancy; so it's better to have same strings and same tensions. From what you have listed, I'd go get a second racquet as a backup based on comfort/price/looks. Then stick to it for at least a year and at that point, you can experiment a bit. Some people like 18x20 string pattern for example, and some people love Yonex isometric frames. Obviously if you have pain then avoid that frame but what you've listed are all pretty arm friendly.
@sportguy-live262 жыл бұрын
Personally I'd pick the technifibre or speed pro but go with the racquet that helps all aspects of your game the most.
@Mewborne892 жыл бұрын
Most of those sticks are too advanced for a “new to tennis” kind of player. Second, pick the racquet to get a match for that works best for you lol which one feels the best and helps you win the most? That’s the one.
@tkdhanani2 жыл бұрын
@Tan K yes want to decide on one; buy a 2nd as a backup/rotation and get rid of the rest. I bought most of them used so I’m not out a lot of money except for getting them strung.

No one’s buying into the “Argyle” term. Give it up, it’s just corny and sad.
