Plastic vanes and a pretty similar pump design to the ones they use rated for gas so I figured what's the worst that could happen 😊

It does seem like this could be a very useful tool for production shops that deal with large quantities of fluids. Too bad there’s such a disconnect between the tool and marketing that they can’t have clear, uniform specifications. Makes me question whether using it for gasoline will damage internals because it’s not designed for that.

Sounds like they worry about the sparks at the brushes and the end of the motor is open also. I will not be using it for fuel again, unfortunately. It works to transfer oil well and I am sure it is great for kerosene and diesel

The danger is the beushed motor.
