Yes. But don't tell anyone. I like everyone running to Thailand and leaving Malaysia for us. 🤤

🤣🤣🤣 So true! I find a bit strange that everyone goes to Thailand and Bali when you have Malaysia right in the middle of both. Yes, let's keep it that way, thanks for watching Erick!

How amazing is the food!! We'd love to visit Taiwan but haven't made any plans at this stage. Thanks to you both we know the food in Taiwan is equally yummy. We'd love to meet you both when we do eventually get there!

Hi Ryan and Abbey, thanks for watching! Yes Kluang was a real surprise packet for us. We originally saw it as a stopover to the next destination we wanted to visit, but it quickly became one of our favourite food destinations in Malaysia!

Not underrated at all. Its extremely popular food from a very popular country. Remember Malaysia is the second biggest tourism hotspot in Southeast Asia after Thailand and one of the top 10 most visited countries in the world. Just because we Caucasians have not discovered it yet, doesnt mean its not popular among the rest of the civilized world. ✌🏻

Hi Casey, I completely agree with you re Caucasians! You got me curious with your stats and google says that while Thailand makes the top 10 visited countries in the world, Malaysia does not. Most Aussies would head either to Thailand or Bali in Indonesia before Malaysia and we are quite baffled by that as Malaysia is awesome and sits right in the middle of the other two countries! We are aware that in pre covid times, Malaysia received a lot of Chinese tourists, however this has yet to recover due to lockdowns in China. Thanks for watching. - Jon

@@BucketListTravellers Agree with you. However, also based on statistics of tourism arrivals, Malaysia was second again in 2022 after Thailand and ahead of Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. Bali receives lots of Aussies and other westerners, but Malaysia still has them beat. Malaysia remains the number 1 tourist hotspot for Japanese, for more than a decade and top two for Koreans. Its also the number 1 for tourists from the Middle East. It was never the top spot for Chinese tourists. That honor belongs to Thailand and Vietnam. Otherwise you got the stats correct. Cheers!
