Is this "racist"? Leo Kearse clashes with Dr Shola over cancel culture & Boris's burka letterbox gag

I was invited onto Good Morning Britain this morning to debate cancel culture following Davina McCall's suggestion that people shouldn't be cancelled over old tweets if they've grown and changed.
This was reported in the Sun as "Leo Kearse claims women in burkas ‘do look like letterboxes’". Watch the video and make up your own mind!
The burka is a symbol of patriarchal oppression. As a misogynist, I think this is great - but even I think that patriarchal symbols can be mocked.
Also, why is it a sackable offence to say burkas look a bit like letterboxes, but absolutely fine to describe middle aged white men as "gammons"? If one is racist, then both obviously are.
Britain is an incredibly diverse, warm and tolerant country. I wish people would stop castigating Britain and its aboriginal inhabitants.

Depending on the situation I will either correct them and joke around about it being mispronounced to make sure they don't feel awkward or just ignore it and let the situation carry on uninterrupted. Some names you can not pronounce phonetically - "Langlois" for example. In same countries you can, but the French pronounce it very differently and it is a French last name. And I think the last name evolved to be pronounced phonetically for some families due to the consistent mispronouncation, that the last name evolved into something else. Which often happens with last names when people migrate to another country. My last name is "Stackman" but it evolved from a Prussian surname that was similar, but was both pronounced and spelt differently. I believe they changed it because it was both easier to write and say. My 2 cents...

That whole interview was so badly handled from start to finish. Apart from that We all saw the way Dr Shola sat smiling at the beginning. How could we disagree with someone who smiles so nicely? That is her device to try and get people to think well of her. Well it failed massively by the end didn’t it! Her self centred arrogance knew no boundaries when she ranted and raved and demanded that we all listen to her and agree with her every word or we are all guilty of all that she suspects of us.
