But the other reason why she also feels so strongly is because Joe was almost agreeing with her. Saying that she needs a killer and a macho man but he knows very well if a fighter gets knocked out doesn’t mean that fighter is t a “bad motherfucker.” Connor just recently got knocked out and I wouldn’t want to fight him still, and Joe knows that there are strong people who have been bested by better or stronger fighters. Her stupid mentality and opinion was backed by him trying to hype her up since she’s strong herself but put that same ex against her and I can promise you, he has a better chance of beating her ass up. If you expect your man to be the biggest and strongest mf out there, well be prepared to be disappointed because even giants fall, whether it’s to a mouse or to another giant.

I was an MMA fighter and I lost in front of my girlfriend. We drove 4 hours each way, spent money, stayed in a hotel, and I lost. It's a terrible thing to lose in front of your woman. She waited for me, wiped all the blood and sweat off my face and body. And she said how great I did and what a great fight. She waited in the car for me to get my gloves cut off, see the doc, and shower. She waited for ME to talk about what happened and we went to eat with her arm around me. Days later when we were back home, we went out to our favorite lounge. A lot of people we knew came up all night asking how the fight went. I think she felt it was hard for me to talk about so she nicely told everyone to leave me alone. That gesture meant more to me than anything any woman ever did. She was there for all if it, good and bad. We have a daughter now and been together 11 years.

GSP got TKO’ed by Matt Serra and expressed gratitude for the ref for stopping the fight so he didn’t get hurt. He admitted to being depressed afterwards, and seeing a sports psychologist. He was criticized by Serra’s brother for “quitting.” Serra’s brother later got a fight stopped due to him repeatedly pulling guard and refusing to get up and engage, so in other words “he quit.” BJ Penn criticized GSP for “giving up” and “not being a real fighter” and when they fought in a rematch Penn’s corner threw in the towel before the 5th round, because Penn dropped his head and didn’t respond when asked if he could continue, or in other words “he quit.” GSP on the other hand is one of the wealthiest MMA fighters in the world, one of the most dominant champions ever, and a Hall of Famer. The people who talk about “never giving up,” and “going out like a fighter” are usually the ones who are the most full of shit!

I wouldn't say cheating. But normally people don't jump ship at the first sight of a red flag. She's been compiling a list of small things that turned her off about him and that was the last straw for her. Even though he was a "good boyfriend". But in my head, she didn't believe he was THAT great of a boyfriend if she left him for that one moment of vulnerability. She was just saying that to cushion the blow.

@@twalls16 this 💯. Everyone has small red flags, but it's determining if they're red flags you can handle/work through together, etc... My last bf was amazingly kind and had a good heart. But he was immature, and we had very different lifestyles (I'm older, homebody, introvert and he was younger, outgoing, and loved to party every weekend) and had nothing in common; interests, values, etc. That doesn't make him or me bad people, just weren't suited for each other. He accused me of wanting to be with other guys becuase I wanted to break up and we had no "obvious problems" (his words) but it was little red flags overtime that added up. He got a new gf really quick and they both just fit so well and I'm taking more school courses and working for a promotion. That said, I wish I broke things off sooner once I realized we weren't compatible instead of trying to make it work. Miriam should've done the same....

Hell, people have been known to start fighting the ref when he’s protecting them after the knockout because they don’t even know what happened.
