Wow...You are really wise girl. ❤️ I’m a person that trust my intuition, and that’s why I stoped doing my hair. I sometimes doubt this process, but my intuition is stronger. When I look at my life the last years I see a pattern. And it has become clearer 2020. I feel an increased need for authenticity. I wear less (or non) make up, enjoys beeing in the woods or by the sea rather in the city. I appreciate simplicity and naturalness 😊

I love how you said to not fight your body. Loved that. At almost 55 acceptance is everything but so is health and feeling Good as you age. Loved this. I intermittent fast and I am plant based and it has served me well( with a few cookies sprinkled in)😉. 🙌🏻🍑Lisa Peaches Skin Care

Yeah, I support you 100% on quitting dying hair, but about the other thing I have to avoid carbs, I don't degest them very well and they make me fat and cause some health issues.. I tend to keep "low carb high fat" diet and it works good for me. That way I don't have to starve or give up almost any food I like. I love your advices though and I'm thankful for them. All my life I was eating whatever I wanted, but now I really have to take care of my health..But thanks for being brave to tell us what you think and support others who try to live a happier life! Thanks! 😚❤

Carbs are dangerous for me, they are just too tasty and I may easily consider having a second helping. It is harder to control the portion sizes with carbs. If I eat a protein based meal I do not feel the urge to eat more of the same meal. Therefore I always have proteins first. Carbs make me feel bloated as well. Weight management has been a life long struggle for me. I have always been relatively in good shape but my mind had to work on this subject for so long. My waist has always been a bit too close to my hip size which is an indicator of insulin resistance. So I have to be careful. 'Brain decides and the body needs to obey' in my case. I found you through your grey hair videos and subscribed. Love your energy in your presentations ...

My thoughts are exactly like yours,I did try it that is I embraced my greys.,I thought I would like it and liked it initially but after around 8 months I saw that my pattern was not like I would have liked it. So I decided to go back to colouring it..but I don't like that too🙄😑

What I would like is a better pattern and if I could colour some parts of it unfortunately my salon wasn't able to do that.Do you have any suggestions
@DitchingDietsDye3 жыл бұрын
I would guess you can find a hairdresser who will only colour certain parts for a look that you enjoy. You could ask for some local recommendations. I hope you can find a solution that works well for you!

I definitely have decided to let my hair go grey because I do not want to use chemicals to look fake. Whilst doing research on hair colouring I was so shocked at the use of those horrible chemicals they put in hair dye. But what about skincare and cosmetics? I don't use much of it, but now I do feel more apprehensive about any beauty products. The ones I use are not tested on animals and are pretty natural but what would you suggest as far as the use of those products? Thanks for a great video. 🙂

I agree with you! Once you start to learn more about what's in products, it makes you want safer options. I did a lot of research after I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2016. I slowly made switches over the past few years to safer alternatives and looking to companies with more transparency. I find the Environmental Working Group (EWG) a helpful resource for selecting products and companies who are transparent and committed to higher safety standards.

I have come to realise we tend to eat what we want ( treat foods) , when we really should eat what we need, we eat our treats too often 😕 xx

Hi Carole, I was definitely that way before and felt like I had to fight against myself (not let myself eat what I "wanted"), but now what I want has changed significantly. But that only happened after I stopped restricting foods, and it was a months-long exploration. I completely understand why this approach not for everyone.
