That's what I've wanted for years. A massive open world, as large as something straight out of GTA or RDR combined, countless missions, quests, and collectibles to attend to, and maybe even the ability to explore for collectibles and components to upgrade the Omnitrix and allow you to inevitably unlock the Master Control. Perhaps when you start out, you've got the original Omnitrix, roughly 10 aliens, and a limiter that times out after 10 minutes and takes the same amount of time to recharge, but you have the ability to use Plumber gear to protect yourself. As you find components and deal with aliens, you can scan them and collect their DNA in order to turn into their alien breeds. Once Master Control is unlocked, you have access to even aliens you hadn't yet scanned, and the limiter is removed, though you can even be given the option to time out if you choose, with the ability to enable/disable at will. A bigger game would allow you to explore as Gwen and Kevin, with their own unique abilities. Maybe even play as Max and explore the world in the Rust Bucket, with the ability to travel to Mount Rushmore in order to pick up or store gear. As for the open world, perhaps a scaled down version of the US similar to that of The Crew, as well as large lands of similar size for other planets like Galvan, Xenon, Incarcicon, Slix Vigma's Megacruiser, and perhaps even an infinitely generated map of the Null Void with portals scattered here and there to allow you to enter and leave at will. Maybe players could even be able to create their own scenarios and missions for other players to download and explore, granting potentially unlimited missions with unlimited creative freedom. It could be such a good game if the right people were on board.

Imagine of they release a Quadrilogy of Ben 10 games where in each game focuses on an incarnation of the Franchise, first you have the Original Series where you start off with the Classic 10, then as you continue the game facing villains, completing Task you gain all the Classic + 10 (Ditto, Eye Guy etc), then the second game takes place in Alien Force, you start off with the Alien Force 10, then you go through the Highbreed Arc and Vilgax Arc, you gain Lodestar, Wildmutt, Canonbolt, Diamond head and Rath, the 3rd Game is in Ultimate Alien where you start off with the Alien Force aliens but then as you go through the Agregor Arc and Ultimate Kevin Arc you gain all (exept ult Way big and ult Wildmutt) Ultimate Aliens, then as you go throught the Dagon Arc you gain Spitter, Fastrack, Ultimate Wildmutt and all the other OS aliens, once you get to face Dagon and Ultimate Vilgax you unlock Ultimate Way big where you can use him to fight both, then we have the 4th game which is obviously in Omniverse, at the start of the game you have all the OS and UAF aliens (with the exeption of the Ultimates of course), then as you go through the game and face Khyber, Malware, Psychobos, Incurseans and nearly every villain of the franchise, you gain the Omniverse pack (Feedback, Gravattack etc), i can imagine extra levels where you get to play as 11 year old Ben

That's because it really isn't. Played both recently and POE still has the best combat and bosses in the series. PT has the benefit of an open world but it's really tedious to get around and you can't even mark objectives on the map, making 100% completion a serious chore. Also remake's artstyle still sucks.

@Siboniso Buthelezi 1) the more alines there are the more gamply features the developers would have to make and the more they would have to add to the level design. It might have went more with what they wanted with 10 alines then 5. But I can agree they should have made an in-game reason. 2) while the texture of the modules are a bit off and plastic, they body of them were the best of all the games. The alines were the correct sizes, you feel huge and hevey with humangasor, small and agile with spider monkey and fast with jetray. 3) finding all of the secrets isn't that difficult, you just need to pay close attention to detail which I find interesting.

I feel like Ben 10 would make for a good Dynasty Warriors type game with all the characters and aliens that you could use. This game does look fun though; Ben 10 games have had an issue where it feels like the aliens are only really around for the sake of it (in the DS Vilgax Attacks for example, you tend to just need an alien for one puzzle at most, otherwise they all share similar base characteristics), so Its nice to see that the aliens have been chosen more deliberately for this game and are accommodated by the world design!

Thinking about what other aliens would fit nicely with this gameplay style, I think Cannonbolt could be pretty great. Get some Sonic-style rolling momentum going on to launch off of ramps or roll through obstacles. Combat could probably work similarly to the Jet ability from Kirby, focusing on charging up powerful, invulnerable launches directly through groups of enemies before stopping, repositioning, and charging up again. There would probably be more than just that one option, maybe something like a ground pound shockwave or grabbing an enemy, rolling them up to high speed, and then uncurling and stopping while letting the enemy go, flinging them forwards into other foes at high speed. Maybe slopes and other terrain could be used to gain high speeds mid-combat without needing to sit in place and charge up first, similar to how they described XLR8's ability to fight on the go. Though now that I think about it, the Goron form in Majora's Mask had a pretty neat rolling mechanic too, though I don't recall if it really used terrain to gain momentum, I think it was pretty much all self-propelling. After rolling for a while it'd enter a sort of "second gear" I guess you could call it where spikes would protrude and you'd become invulnerable while using up your magic energy. I thiiiink it also went faster like this? It'd be a slightly different way to do Cannonbolt than what I described above, but still very much a viable set of mechanics. I think either option has the potential to compete with XLR8 as a method of travelling the world at extreme speeds. While XLR8 would probably have the higher average speed, and would definitely have an advantage with how nimble he is, capable of doing more precise maneuvers, Cannonbolt provides two very crucial elements in his speed: invulnerability and force. Damaging hazards, physical barriers, groups of enemies, while XLR8 might need to dodge through or circumvent these things entirely, Cannonbolt could just take the most direct path through them all without stopping or taking damage. One of the reasons I particularly like this idea (aside from Sonic being one of my favorite videogame series and Jet being my favorite Kirby copy ability, anyway,) is because it feels like it could integrate in a very organic manner. In comparison, probably my favorite alien in the series is Upgrade. However, while there could definitely be some cool stuff to do with that alien, it would almost certainly end up as a "use specific alien here" scenario, where you see one of the specific machines in the game Upgrade can interface with, use him there, and then proceed to not really use him under any other circumstances. It sounds like this is already something of a problem on some level, with Four Arms and Wrath's techniques having very specific objects to use their abilities on, leaving them without much of a purpose outside those specific instances. Compare to a double jump, super speed, or a glide/slow fall which can be used essentially anywhere, allowing for much more personalized play. I'm not sure what end Shockrock's grapple ends up on as that highly depends on how much the player is allowed to grapple on to. Could be limited to very specific locations like a Zelda hookshot, or there could be viable grapple locations basically anywhere like a Spider Man game. Ultimately, being able to launch oneself forwards in a high-speed invulnerable state would be highly fun and functional even in environments that weren't specifically designed around such a technique.

The sow still has it’s moments. I advice you watch if you’re big Ben10 fan. You might like it and remember you can always rewatch the original series.

My only complaint is, well, everything just looks so silly and cartoony from the designs right down to how XLR8 looks while running (but that's just how the Reboot rolls, so it's expected). My only complaint is that we don’t get to play as all the aliens. If there was a dlc for extra aliens I’m gonna guess it’s like this Hummongusour=Dark Matter Slapback=Bootleg Cannonbolt=Wreckingbolt Jetray=Skunkmoth Goop=Undertow Maybe if a sequel gets make you can have access to omni kix armours but only for a short time like an awesome power booster.

I always thought of a team shooter game similar to Plants vs Zombies and Black Ops 3 where it’s a plumber simulation and everyone has a fake omnitrix which turns into one alien (for the duration of the match). So it’ll essentially be plumbers fighting each other but as it’s a simulation, this allows for unusual things to happen such as multiple omnitrixes that have specific aliens. The omnitrixes could work like the specialist meter from Black Ops 3 but provide abilities like a Plants vs Zombies character. E.g Purifier from BO3 and Snapdragon from PvZ could be Heatblast. E.g Overdrive from BO3 and Peashooter’s sprint move from PvZ could be XLR8

The only thing missing was Ben’s colorful collection of villains. Hex and Decibel are the only villains in the game and we only fight mindless monsters besides them. They should have put villains in the game for us to fight as we make our way through the story to the final battle with Hex like in all the other games. And they should have made team attacks for Ben and Kevin to do like the characters in ultimate alliance 2 and other features that can only be used when 2 people play in order to give everyone more incentive to play with a friend

Bought the game and it wasn't quite all it was cracked up to be. There's this weird thing where you stall a little every time you jump. The game does get some pretty chunky frame rates whenever you're not in the void rifts. The aiming of Shockrock's tethers can be pretty unreliable and I often found myself jumping off the map thinking the game would allow my to grapple while I was jumping, which it wouldn't. There were a lot of objects and places you'd think would have collision but just didn't so I'd just phase through them. In actual battles I could rarely get Rath's roar off without getting hit. A lot of times while I was fighting I'd try a combo and just end up soaring off to the side or hitting nothing. Things like Four Arms' wall-break and Shockrock's overload take an awkward amount of time, and with Heatblast's flame thrower the range on it is pathetic, and often times the camera would suddenly tilt up. And the NPCs are just.. horrific. Everyone but Grandpa Max looks like a PS2 character.

Ben 10 Cosmic Destruction was my favorite game. I remember the five new Andromeda aliens used as advertisement for the game to play as. I had a PS3 at the time and was kinda bummed out after finding out Four Arms was the exclusive alien for PS3 and the Xbox had Rath (the only time I wanted a Xbox 360) I still had fun tho.

We're in 2020 where technology has majorly improved. People either believed Ben was a performance artist (as helped by him posting videos online, which could be claimed to be an RP montage) or disregarded him (in a world with wizards, teenage energy vampire actors, rock-music based terrorists, illegal racers with engines that rival nuclear bombs, mad animal scientists and mind controlling clowns, Ben fits just right in). In-show, it takes a season and a half for people to finally take note of Ben's heroics. Besides, if you saw a kid slam his watch and you suddenly saw a big four-armed red man instead, what would you think? That this kid who's also a vlogger and goes around the country like a performer has an alien watch allowing him to change his entire DNA just by slamming it? Or that this kid has stunt doubles for his videos and all of that is just a setup to get views (not to mention one of his footages came straight out of a set in Miami's movie studios)? Get real, aliens don't exist in real life. Why would this kid saying he becomes aliens be taken seriously? We're in the 21st century, anything can be faked with the right special effects and editing tools. Besides, this is during season 3, where Ben is already known around the entire world (thank Phil for allowing the RV to fly using a helicopter strapped to the Rustbucket), and so is Kevin and all the bad guys they fight. Compared to all the weirdness around him and the supernatural threats Ben protects them from, civilians being chill around Ben is pretty normal, they've seen weirder.

I got this game on switch a year or two ago for Christmas and would love to make a video "redesigning" the game. I've been work shopping recently a power trip style UAF game and its been fun, in general though it has its flaws I do love this game, though I think either rath or fourarms could be entirely replaced with somebody else so we have more variety (and not just two strong guys) imagine how cool jetray or slapback could've been!

I’m still just over here wishing we had gotten a full open world (or even open universe) high quality ben 10 with all aliens and great action game combo gameplay. This game should be called “Ben 6: Power Trip” I don’t have to explain why. I just wish we atleast have gotten 10 characters that’s all. Like overflow to turn off fires, stinkfly to hover around the open world. Canonbolt could of been nice as well to travel fast around the world. At the end fo the day the game is great and probably the best ben 10 game. I just hope we get updates or dlc because it could definitely work and make the game better than it already it. Imagine being able to swim underwater or fly in the skys 🤔

Funnily enough it's based on a show for a younger audience made by a small team. There's not tonnes here because it's suited for a specific audience. I'm 20 I watched Ben 10 all the time growing up and this game looks great, it's simple and has some humour all in all its just being what it's meant to be which Is just a bit of fun.

There are two things I like about this game 1 it open world this is the first time ever seeing a Ben ten game in an open world it give plays more places to explore instead of heading straight into the task at hand 2 it adds news content keeping up with the show I like the idea of me transforming into any alien I want in the current reboot. What I don't like about this game Is the graphics I wish it could be better. But the direction their taking is a big one

I had a very different review to you guys. Personally, the game was very lacking. It was far too simple and easy to complete as opposed to the first game of Ben 10 (Protector of Earth). I know it's for kids but there isn't actual challenge for them considering that you can't fail any of the alien parkour mechanics, the enemies are all the same and have no originality nor differentiation between each other as opposed to previous games made before it where you would come across different variations of enemy types that would require you to try more. It does the now often trait of not having ten aliens available to play as despite the fact that the name of is Ben 10 (The 10 for TEN aliens), and most of the elements of the game that require you to use all different types of aliens are useless when you can literally play through most of the game as XLR8 (You barely actually need the other aliens until you either reach a bit that's too high to reach with your jump, from which you just go Heatblast and double jump. Or you go Rath and climb then switch back to XLR8 and your on and through with the game.....The only times I have had to use Fourarms was with pushing blocks and punching walls as he wasn't even that useful in combat despite supposedly being the heavy hitter out of the roster. The only times I had to use Heatblast was for double jumps and burning down barrels in the way of your objective. The only times I had to use Rath was when I needed to follow a scent trail and climb which only about three times. The only times I had to use Shock Rock was when I needed to grapple and I didn’t have to that much. The only times I needed Diamondhead was his level of unlocking him, once when I had reach a distance that XLR8 could only barely reach and in the stage before the final boss and the stage for the final boss. The times I needed XLR8 weren't much either but he is your best bet when playing the game entirely as he is not only the fastest alien in the game, but also the most effective due to the speed of his four combos and his speed boost can be used whilst in mid air making him able to reach long distances.) I also feel like for a game of Ben 10, it shouldn't focus on just one singular villain for the game and should've taken advantage of the newly introduced and original villains from the reboot for either side missions in the game or as bosses that lead to the final boss (Like the first game, where you would come across SEVEN of the well known villains from the show before reaching the final boss being the EIGHTH villain) as opposed to just going against golems that can be beaten quickly and easily with no other method but the same one that each and every one had. The final boss only killed me once (And that was because I went through the game without upgrading my health, and only working on my power points) but after that, he had the simple issue of just doing the same attacks and even in his second stage of the fight........Hex only did three of the same attacks and didn't change anything up at all.....I could argue that the boss fight got easier in the second stage as opposed to the first stage. Now my final comment is focused towards the functions of the cooperative play in the game. First of all, player 2 can't even travel that much of a distance away from player 1. Player 2 is unable to help with the progression of missions as the player was unable to even pick up an item as the option was never given. Player couldn't even join player 1 in the rave puzzle missions and was only left to wait until I had finished the mission myself rather than allowing the second player, the opportunity to join me in those missions. Overall, I would say that this game has to be the worst Ben 10 game that I have played out of the six (Now seven) Ben 10 games I have played in my life. If you are a parent and reading this, I recommend that if you want your child to enjoy a Ben 10 that's more unique with a use of the different aliens available to you then I would recommend that you just get either "Ben 10: Protector of Earth" or "Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks" (Though I'd heavily recommend the first option as opposed to the second that I gave).
