Nice! I was looking at kondor blue for my S1 but ended up getting the smallrig because they had a cage that would let me use my battery grip as well 👌

Always glad to watch your reviews. The Kondor is really nice with that slide in mecanism. Do I see a PL mount adapter with that heavy lens? If yes, which one is it? Thinking of buying the Irix Cine lenses line up with PL mount for my S1H.

Thank you for watching! Yeah it's super slick definitely is my favorite thing about the cage. You do see one :D Video coming eventually, I just don't really know how to make an informative video about a mount 😂The one I have is the Sigma MC-31. My short thoughts on it, it's pricey, but very very solid mount. No wiggle at all between the PL mount or L mount part of it. I've really enjoyed it so far. I think I have an idea for the video that just came to my head while I was typing this. Stay tuned!

@@DustinArmstrongPro Wow! 800 Euros! That must one hell of an adapter! Made out of adamantium. Forged by Thor the allmighty himself and engraved by his buddy Wolverine. Definitely worth a review. I need to get one! Jokes aside: thats the kind of money we have to spend when we enter the realm of pro gear. I'll get over it. Blue Kondor have no resellers in Europe. Yet. I emailed them and they told me that they are working on it :)

Cool review on this Kondo Blue cage, Dustin. Have you ever used the Titla Cage for the S1H? That's the one I use - it's pretty solid and fits nicely in the hands.

Hey Dustin is the Kondor Blue top handle tall enough that the Panasonic DMW-XLR1 XLR can fit under? I have Smallrig cage with helmet kit that protects the Panasonic DMW-XLR. The helmet kit is a hassle because when not using the audio module you have to unscrew it to take it off.

@@DustinArmstrongPro I can make it easy for you. The top of the audio module to the top of EVF measured from where it says Panasonic is 2.5 inches. Also, did you get a chance to test if the Sigma 24-70 was parfocal?

Maybe not related, but what drone do you use? Thinking of the Mavic Air 2 but worried I won’t be able to match the 8 bit codec to my S1H. Any thoughts? The Mavic Pro 2 is just so much more money haha.

I still have the mavic pro. I actually would probably go with the mavic air 2 if I upgraded. I don't use drones super often so if I can just get close to my footage I just call it good and move on

@@fatheadmediapro In that case yeah you'll be using it more than me haha. Frame rates and the size of the drone too. My mavic is small and even still I feel like it's a pain to carry with me when I need it. So a smaller drone would be nice for me

Great question. I wouldn't say there is a "best" option. More the question to ask is what kind of look do you want for your Netflix film? Cause they all do different things and give different looks
