Ever wonder why some conversations turn defensive, even when you're just speaking your truth? 🤔
Much of what we receive as offense often stems from our unresolved issues, rather than the actual intent of the speaker.
Our defensive reactions are tied to personal triggers and past experiences.
While we can’t control how others react, we can control our own expression-being kind, clear, mindful, and timely.
The “right time” requires us to consider both the environment and the emotional state of the other person.
Not every important conversation needs to happen immediately. If someone's not ready to receive your message, it may be best to wait.
Not all relationships are meant to last forever. Cherish the good memories, but don't force connections that have run their course.
