Hello Peter in a complete u turn to my comment a few months ago I have purchased the short nlite and used it as a trad pole for the first time today and I’ve got to say I wouldn’t want to use anything else.It is the best thing since sliced bread as you know its very light and rigid it fits you hands like a glove I never want to use a stool for those hard to reach down stairs windows again this with the excellerator 2.0 and liquidator 3.0 channel with fliq pad is unbeatable thanks again for the vid and the recent heads up on your email just need to fix my loose pivot rivet on my oldest excellerator 2.0 now

Good vid as always Peter but after seeing the comments from the replies I’m sticking to the poles you recommended to me a couple of years ago the trusty old phantom carbon and trad pole with the angle adapter set up you done a vid about , I got that and have never regretted it but I do appreciate you having to demo new equipment though, keep up the good work

Ah, awesome. I will keep this one in mind for when I need a longer pole. I just bought a 20 foot xero trad pole, my first carbon pole. I was going to buy the facelift but to avoid shipping costs and waiting I just got the xero. Do most waterfed poles have adapters for trad or no? Also, say I wanted to buy the 60 foot version of this in the future. Naive of me to think I can trad that long of a pole? What's the longest you feel comfortable tradding? Thx

Has Unger given you any indication that they are going to make a swivel tool to compete with the Moerman Excelerator at anytime in the near future? Unger would probably make something that's better quality and iron out it's flaws (I would hope).

It's funny whenever I'm positive about a product from a company I get occasional folks like you asking daft questions like that. I've also been positive about moerman, facelift, pulex, ettore, Wcr, wcw, wcw. They all bought me to? 🤣🤣 the answers a firm no pal

@@TradMan First of all: i am from germany, i love your videos and my english is bad. I see you in offcial promo videos from unger like this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZLZaaGDjJJgpKs But i see you never in such promo videos for other producers like facelift, pulex and so forth. X Line Systems has one of the best bang for the buck high end poles and you can start with a residential length and keep adding sections. I clean with two poles... one to soap and the other to rinse on dirty windows. On maintenance then a single pure water pass! I also wash with Meguires Wash and Wax... to help the windows stay cleaner longer.

@@TradMan Two final questions Peter. Would the 8.6m pole be comfortable to use all day? can the sections be taken on & off easily?
@TradMan Жыл бұрын
Yes very comfortable to use. I use it myself everyday. My only issue with this pole and most other poles is the collapsed length should be shorter. Other than that it's superb.
@TradMan Жыл бұрын
Sections cannot be fully taken apart just by pulling them out. There is a stopper inside the clamp to stop you pulling the sections out by accident so you would have to loosen the clamp body with an alan key and pull the sections out that way.
@JasonDunlop247 Жыл бұрын
You were quite correct Peter. Been using my Nlite 24k pole for about 10 days now & it's a fantastic pole . I was apprehensive about how comfortable it might be to use but find the shape of the pole perfect, feels really comfy. The powerbrush is excellent, though the inbuilt pencil jets are total pants ! Ordered the 8.6m one now as well , with the added sections. Had a few problems with WCW but we ironed out the annoyances & Tom at WCW sent me a £50.00 voucher, which i spent this evening on some unger black series rubber.
@TradMan Жыл бұрын
I knew you'd like it 😉 Glad things went well with WCW. I've found no pole or brush is perfect but the unger pole certainly does tick most of the right boxes 😊
@JasonDunlop247 Жыл бұрын
@Trad-Man Academy | Window & Gutter Cleaning Your right Peter, perfect doesn't quite exist but that pole & brush is pretty close. I also was not expecting even the smaller 6m pole to be so rigid either, defo thought it would be more whippy because of the heavier brush etc but my face-lift pole (Which was my fave) is noticeably benderer at full height. I'm glad I listened to you 🤝
@TradMan Жыл бұрын
Happy to help. I wouldn't use a product if it was no good and certainly wouldn't recommend it either. The unger pole and brush is something I've found to be very good so happy to recommend it to good folks like yourself 😉

Oh man many reasons… I’m short (5’7) so the collapsed length is around 53” and you can fit into some tight spaces without worrying about the large base section on most WFP’s… I use the basic carbon fiber 30’ pole and it’s 5lbs(ish) including the brush. On residential here (US) a 30’ can get virtually all of my work daily. The clamps are awesome as well… Lastly the price point is crazy, $800 for the basic carbon fiber with hose and brush and free US shipping (now I sound like a commercial)
