Suggestion: have peppermint discs handy when the vets are there trying to evaluate. Give the horse a peppermint and it distracts them, and keeps them concentrating on the peppermint👍🍀🇺🇸

I just want to thank you for showing everything about the horses, what to look for what to not be concerned about, essentially the good bad and ugly. If I knew back in the mid-seventies when we had horses, what I have learned now with you, watching the care of Friesians, and Horse Plus, maybe I would have done things differently. 🤔😢 Big thank you!

If you get some horses that are blind in one eye and play up please try putting a blind fold over his eyes then try working them with word commands and by touch with your hands on the side that you want them to turn and you are gaining the horses trust to by showing the horses that you are not going to hurt them when you are working with the horses

Why doesn't Rae appear require a horse to stand still for mounting? That can be really unsafe. It doesn't take too much to teach them correctly.

@PurdueAlum019 ай бұрын
Last I saw they were going to keep Envy, the husband even got attached and enjoyed riding but ur right it doesn't seem that we have seen her in a while. Maybe just because it's winter and their personal horses are out in a pasture together... maybe not the best mud for trail riding yet, have to keep an eye out for her.

Is it best to buy clippers at a feed store or someplace like that or at a beauty supply? I’m thinking the feed store might be stronger. I don’t know if anybody know. Queen Latifah looks much better, but she still has a way to go with that white look how good she is how well she’s minding.

#1. Your site subscription I have to keep resubscribing to. #2. Mites - On Working Horses with Jim his Percheron Buck (now passed from colic) would get mites that Jim per his vet would treat with cattle de-wormer (purple in color) that worked well. His Suffolk Punch Baron now has Bucks old stall and got mites. Can stalls harbor mites and would you need to follow a protocol to eradicate? P.S. Also saw on a farrier site trick that makes a horse stand still (if physically able to stand on one leg) owner would hold up one leg to show leg conformation without horse moving leg around. Remington bursa ultra sound could this trick been used so vet could get test done easier without so much moving leg?

I will try to say this without judgement. I have always struggled with horse owners who choose to either give their horse to a kill shelter or surrender them when they are at a point in life with their issues when they should be humanely put down. 😢
@Sparrow.in.the.treetop5 ай бұрын
What gets me is the horrible condition they have allowed their Horse to fall into, they don’t get off the hook by surrendering their Horse to a kill Shelter, the owners should be jailed for the condition they’ve let their Horse get into , HELLO you have a 1600 lb Animal in the Barn that needs good nutrition, Vet services once or twice yearly, feet checked 2 times/year Brushed out once a week teeth floated every 6 months, Regular Exercise! and on an on!

Just a little viewing tip, always make sure to have a clean lense when filming, once and twice is okay, but when it's a whole hour of light strikes, it really difficult to watch and enjoy. Don't want you to lose views because of it.
