Is this the PERFECT Macbook for NEW Content Creators?

Being a new creator and still progressing in my development as a content creator the biggest question is should I upgrade to the Macbook pro M3? After careful thought I decided to get the base model Macbook Air M3 w/ 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. I will mostly be using this laptop as a secondary unit to my main custom PC to grind out content and be more portable. The lighter weight, smaller frame, and cheaper price played a huge part in my decision.
Growing as a creator will take time and with this Macbook Air M3 I will be able to take my content to the next level. I am looking forward to the day where I will OUTGROW it and will need to upgrade to a Pro model. Lets Get It and Have A Great Day!

Hey brotha! I loved the video and your thoughts. A piece of advice from a fellow content creator who's also still learning, keep your videos mainly about the title and the viewer instead of about you, and your deeper thoughts that arn't really related to the title. Not to say it's not important but that could be a different video idea. The reason why I'm saying this is because a lot of people click the video just wanting to know if the its the perfect macbook for new content creators and thats it but not really wanting to hear advice etc. And because of this, when you start speaking about these other things, a lot will literally just swipe off the video cause it's not what they're looking for and that will lower your retention graph and watch time which will hurt your overall growth. But regarding the stuff you said, I agree with you on all of it. I'm going through the same issue right now actually looking to get a macbook and feeling like I need to upgrade etc... I would make a new video about this issue and title it something like "The base macbook is enough" or something in those lines to where you can fully talk about ur experience and it still being fully about the title of the video. Much love man! Keep grinding, you have a lot of potential 🔥

Man I cant thank you enough for these honest and helpful tips. These last few months I have really been trying to figure out the craft and direction I want to take but those are some exceptional points. Definitely trying to plan things out a lot more and trying to stick to title and topic going forward, feel like that will help me grind out more content and be able to be more consistent. Checked out your channel and looks like you went with the air as well. I've honestly loved it these past few months, only thing i wish it had was an SD card reader and more USB C Ports! But the size and weight has been a huge blessing for portability. Stay up man, thank you for spitting some facts!!

This vid has no pertinent info in it at all regarding the new pro book. It's a subjective take on a guy who bought it and wants to make money on youtube, amazon and ebay. Anyone buying the Pro book should consider getting the 16GB ram. Its worth it and is the key to unlocking the new M3 chip. The 8GB will struggle in the long run, and tbh you should just got with the older M2 model if you want to go with base 8GB.

Agree, you´re also totally fine with the M1 Chip (2020) but keep in mind that 16GB ram is always crucial for a great editing experience. Save your bucks, buy a used one for 700/800 and you´re good to go.

Yes it is a subjective opinion, but I think Mau’s main point here is that most entry level editors really do not need the best possible editing experience, and just need a low barrier to entry. Especially for young people and teens, it’s hard to see everyone with the new M3 Max chip and you start thinking that “I can’t edit unless I spend 3 grand on a laptop.”
