Thanks for sharing. I have a Mk11 Mod 0 "trade in" upper that was made in the early 2000's. I have yet to shoot it and I keep thinking maybe I should sell it, but I know I'd never come across one again for what I got it for - it's too unique a piece of GWOT small arms history to not hold onto, even if I never shoot it.

Oh man something like that I'd hang on to as it's pretty much one of a kind! Now that I've got this MK11 Mod 1, I find myself kind of wanting a MK11 Mod 0 upper as that's also a very iconic setup.

Awesome find. I found a rare KAC SR-15 M4 Match 20” barrel with the very rare limited release Sniper R.A.S. on it. The rifle is basically a MK12 mod 1 with a 20” barrel w/target crown. Only 4-7 of these rails were released to the public which was most likely an overrun on a gov’t contract. I believe they made 73 of these rifles and 4-7 with the Sniper R.A.S. Rail Very nice find bud, I hope we are able to see you shoot her!

Awesome rifle, I've got a SR25 ER which I think is pretty rare as well. Very similar to your Mk11 Mod1, as it's a hybrid between an M110 and a Mk11 Mod0. Has the URXII rail. The only difference is it has the crowned Mod0 barrel to accept the Mk11 suppressor rather than the M110 muzzle device and suppressor. Great content brother

All I receive is recommendations for your videos now. Dope AF; we have identical taste. What did the guys in the service clone community say? I have a 1 of 20 US imported, factory 16' FN-FNC. I found it in a pawn shop in Eastern Wa. It was moderately expensive at SCAR pricing, but is worth 5x what I payed. Evidently only two dozen were imported, and they were exclusive toa LE department on the East Coast in the 80s. I contacted FN to inquire about it, and they claimed they don't even have a factor 16. It came with some of the original Hendersolt accessories that sell for nearly the price of the firearm. Technically, it's an illegal firearm, due to being one of the first 100 imports, with only the lower serialized. After the first shipment that ATF deemed the upper to be the "firearm” not the lower. I'll def sell it one of these days. A popular KZbinr down the road from you is currently attempting to make me an offer. I'd sell this if I were you man. It's amazing, no question, but I suspect someone out there would be willing to pay an obscene amount. I love exclusivity, but in order to really feel special, it has to look the part, like the Walther 2000; which Ian did shoot in his YT channel. I saw one on GunBroker last year for for nearly $200k. Anyways sell this and purchase a G28. I think they're being imported from CA for $13k ish. I love the SR25, but excluding minor cosmetic features, its just an SR25. Oh man, the suppressor really does set it off though...Damn.. Still, I'd purchase a standard SR25, and buy a fully kited G28. If we have similar taste, you desire a G28 badly. Not s MR7.62, but a A3, peanut buttered, hooded aimpoint appointed, Schmidt & Bender, HKG28. Objectively the most aesthetic firearm ever created. It's like my FDE M14EBR, but better in every conceivable aspect, and actually not embarrassing to own. It's the SR25 better looking, golden tanned, Eastern European sister. I mean it did replace the SR25. *DO IT!* I know they even if you say not a chance, you're considering it in the back of your mind. Go watch Arm&Guns video on his G28m
@MountainsMulletsMerica
@MountainsMulletsMerica 2 жыл бұрын
Oh man I love hearing my videos are showing up on your feed, hopefully that will start happening more frequently with more folks haha. The FNC you have sounds pretty epic, depending on how much you shoot it and how much it might be worth I'd be tempted to sell it. Tell you what though, I don't see myself parting with this MK11 Mod 1, I've always wanted an M110 and in my opinion this is basically an M110, but cooler due to the history and rare nature of it. Unfortunately though I don't see myself ever pursuing the HKM110A1 or the G28. Just something about that rifle that I really don't like. It certainly looks cool and I'm not exactly sure why I don't like it but I've got many other firearms I'd like to acquire before something like that. Strange I know but it is what it is haha. Thanks again for watching!
@tomjjackson21
@tomjjackson21 2 жыл бұрын
@@MountainsMulletsMerica Ah, I'm the opposite, there's something about the G28 I love more than any other rifle. I have a strong affanity for my M14EBR and I have no idea as to why, because it's a pos, lol.. I jist love it. If it were the end of the world I'd be lugging around that 20lb 308, that shoots between ¾-4 moa, depending on what time it is. It's wildly inconsistent, but I love it. I really love the M110 SASS as well. Yeah, the FNC is cool for what it is, but I'm more of a precision rifle guy. I've never fired it, and it looks to be virtually new. Current offer is $9k on gunbroker, and I'm absolutely going to sell it for that, I just desired to see what the largest content creator was willing to part with given its exclusivity, and since he reached out to me on insta, and he's given free firearms by everyone in the industry. He's kind of a tight a$$, tire kicker though, so I suspect I'll sell on gun broker before the holidays. Rock Island Auctions desired to host it on their site for $12k opening bid, but it feels a little grimy. Though the value is subjective, it should be valued at what I payed for it; $2300. I'd trade it in a moment for a G28. Inevitably I'll get one, and since you're my neighbor you'll bump into me someday, ultimately regret not purchasing one, and do the same. Have you taken Doyle's class that he was hosting outside of Spokane? Idk if he still hosts it. I took it in October of 2019, and it was amazing. Atacrs are required, or at least the tremor reticle is. Not everyone runs the optic, and when I saw your video with it, knowing he teaches a class in Eastern WA, it made me wonder if it's the subsequent result of taking Buck Doyle's precision class. If he's still being hosted here, and you haven't taken it, do it. Not only would it make for phenomenal content, it was a phenomenal course. Im a queen and it was cold at and snowing during my course, and I still had the time of my life. Expensive given he's kind of a celebrity, but worth it. I know a few guys that took classes from Travis Haley and were *LIVID* because it was a sht course, hosted by a celebrity for obscene amounts. Doyles isn't like that. I learned a ton. Maybe someday you can get in good with that particular tight a$$ you tuber. He just purchased a range is is going to start a training course. I gurantee he'd be interested in a guy with your capabilities for his longer range course content. He's just outside of Spokane. If it happens, I want a free class for planting that seed. I'm on speaking terms with him and I'll DM him your channel if it'd be something you're interested in. Not everyone can shoot 1200 yards with a 308 gas gun and it's probably something to genuinly consider. Given he's the largest gun tuber your channel would hit a million subs over night. Tbh I don't like the guy, he's grimy af, but I'd work for him, at least as a hobby. You two may be bffs, who knows?

@@tomjjackson21 I handled one of those FNCs back in the 90's in the safe of a gun shop in Woodbine Md. I don't remember what it was priced at but probably not any more than you payed for yours. It was a curiosity to me but didn't draw my lust like a USSOCOM M4s decked out with all the Knights railed handguards and such. Now those M4s are old school and common while the FNC is 'classic'. FN should try making a run of them with ambidextrous updates and m-lok handguards.

@@MountainsMulletsMerica Since my comment has gone unnoticed by the rest of the public, I give you a tidbit. Mark, as in Mark 11. Like... Mark 11 Mark 12 Mark 13 Mark 17 Mark 18 Mark 20 Is all a Naval terminology. Your rifle was made for NAVSPECWAR, the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, NAVDEVGRU, etc. Congrats on the find! You found and bought a rifle that will probably outlast you, considering those rifles can outlast the corrosion caused by the ocean. Be good to it. I'm jealous. Lol.
