Hi, does the system still work if your wifi system is off? as a stand alone system?

Yes, the WiFi connection is just for the base unit to connect to WiFi for smart features, but the rest will work independently once setup. Not sure if you'd be able to do the setup without WiFi, I didn't try 🙂

You said that button quiets the alarm but doesn’t disarm it. I think that’s a great design. Give the robber a false sense of security that they were able to turn off a cheap alarm while the cops are on their way.

ha - yeah that's a good point :) Although, it'll go off again soon enough next time it's triggered. But at least it'll annoy the hell out of the burglar!
