I agree! I've just watched the first four Bonds, with Sean Connery, and "Thunderball" was my favourite. They'd got the formula down to perfection. Great "scale", great quips, great girls. Connery easily flipping between smooth, witty, and violent. Yep, loved the early scene of Bond saying "My commisserations", then punching her in the gut! 😂
