@@TheRyan4778 💯Much love to Big O. (In My Opinion), the first season was better than the second. Also, respect to SpaceGhost, Reboot, Fullmetal Alchemist, Outlaw Star, Zoids: New Century, Basilisk, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), Samurai 7, The Venture Bros, Hellsing Uitimate, Metalocalypse, etc.... 👍🏾
@TheRyan4778 Жыл бұрын
@@HatchedDragon Yea, the second season was a letdown. Only good thing about it was interactions between Dorothy and Angel. The animation was far too bright and contrasted to much from the first season, IMO.

Most people would probably take it for granted that we can watch anime anytime we want thanks to streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, but I can promise you that without Toonami kids of the 90s and 2000s era would never have discovered the amazing world of anime and manga in the first place. We should be greatful that we had it growing up and that it was brought back for a new generation of fans.

I love Toonami. I first watched this back in 1999 after I bought my first Satellite Dish from Direct TV and later Dish Net. I have been growing up with anime since 1978 w/Battle of the Planets, Star Blazers, Speed Racer, Voltron, Danguard Ace, Gaiking, Robotech and Capt. Harlock. I got back into anime in the 90's but on home video. After I watched Toonami anime in the late 90's I was hooked from Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, Gunam, Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, etc. I agree. I like watching anime in the afternoon instead of late Saturday Night. I also like Steve Blum's voice as the robot.

I think toonami should start their owns streaming app cut out the commercials but keep the bumper presentations as the block wouldn’t be the same without it they could have a set live schedule to broadcast new and old anime all day and have new and old shows that someone could just throw on and watch from the pic of the bunch instead of watching the live broadcast . I think that would be cool

I watched toonami when I was watching attack on titan for the first time back in 2019 Also fun fact: in the early 2000s toonami had contests for video games like there were adds for PlayStation 2 games that you could win along with a PS2 this included games like jak and daxter ratchet and clank and sly cooper heck in sly 2 you can even unlock Tom from toonami as a gadget he’s a little toy robot you can throw to detract guards And this is why I want a sly cooper cartoon aired on Cartoon Network or adult swim or toonami whatever

I feel what they should do, is bring back Toonami Jetstream and have Toonami be an online Anime streaming service that way. And if its pricing and treatment of employees is better than Crunchyroll or Funimation, it may very well see success in that format.
