A good chunk of TV shows mentioned in here is what I grew up with back then. While I never directly watched from the PBS Kids network (instead watched from another TV network that hosted the shows in different languages), it brings me a sense of nostalgia every time a PBS Kids show is brought up. It sure did attempt to educate children in a positive way, and not the garbage that we see nowadays on KZbin with channels attempting to do the same thing but with a twist.

No wonder why people hated 4Kids Entertainment. It's block on The CW got me into 4Kids.

G4 was never great from x play and attack of the show, those were very skipable for me as a kid. I liked G4 becuase of shows Icons and Judgement day. I forget what the news channel was called but that could be cool too. Alwo one where these dudes would do dares. Mostly shows before thr tech tv merger. I thought the tech TV shows sucks. But apparently take TV had its own fans and they hated G4 equally. I always hated cinematech though, that was pre merger. G4 in 03 was an awesome part of my childhood when i was 11, 12 years old.

I prefer PBS Kids from 1999-2013 in my opinion.

Disney channel in 2000s and 2010-2014 we're a masterpiece, in 2015-2018 it was meh but starting in 2019 the channel started to become really bad IMO.

My real problem with Frosk’s rant was she was totally right about everything, except the fact that people like Olivia Munn and Layla (and even Morgan Webb because apparently a lot of people find her attractive) were shining examples of eye candy for views. Not to say that was their only purpose, but it was definitely a calculated strategy on G4’s part to have those women as hosts. Sexism in gaming (and in most industries in general) is for sure rampant, but I think in the case of Frosk, she just came off as unlikeable and that rant made her seem more so. I don’t think the channel was even sustainable to stick around anyway, but had she handled that another way she may have been able to garner more support. We are talking about a culture that calls a game woke if the female character isn’t attractive here! 😂😂 P.s the way this dude pronounces names is insane 😂

Holy crap, I forgot about the 700 club. So many core memories of mornings with my grandma just got unlocked.

I have no idea why defunct kids TV from a very long time ago is so interesting but it really is fascinating. I think you've noticed that the power struggles between the corporate behemoths that ran children's television for a long time were protracted and brutal. They featured some interesting people who could behave very badly if need be. Great vids dude.
