Ok, I'm a conservative, so I disagree with TYT on the vast majority of issues (not 100%, but the vast majority). I come in peace, however. Even though I rarely agree with what I hear from TYT, I kind of enjoy watching, because it allows me to hear the other side, and, in my opinion, become more informed. I do not want to live in an echo chamber and only listen to my own side. And I like that TYT is not a corporate, mainstream outlet such as CNN, MSNBC, etc. I think TYT is good at what they do, and independent media like this is infinitely better than corporate/mainstream media. BUT--I have to ask, who is this girl on this panel, and WHY does she have this job? 99% of the time, if she is in a TYT clip, I stop watching and switch to something else as soon as she starts talking. This one, I did actually watch all the way through (first time I've ever done that for a clip that includes her) What do people like about her? What does she bring to the table? I find her completely insufferable. It seems like she thinks she is edgy and witty, but to me she just comes off as a snot-nosed, arrogant brat, who thinks she is much smarter than she actually is. She claimed she has "no idea" who Doug Burgum is......I'm assuming she was trying to be funny, but it wasn't funny. Lol. if, on the other hand, she truly was unfamiliar with him, then she exposed herself as someone who is not qualified whatsoever to cover politics FOR A LIVING--the dude ran for the Republican nomination, ffs! She's a stand up comedian, a journalist, and a political activist who runs her own show and cohosts several others, as well as organizing and producing (i.e., 'leading') various journalism and outreach projects. She tends to have an excellent understanding of what is 'most important' in determining what is actually going to happen, which, insofar as I've seen, she predicts more accurately than most. She summarizes issues very clearly and presents convincing fact-based arguments. ... So far your criticism was that she said she didn't know who someone was... are you sure she wasn't just 'making a point'? Anyway, I'm not sure your effort to neg her counts as 'coming in peace'.
