Xenoblade 3 DLC is about 30 hours, VERY Xeno 1 leaning. Ending is so so.

Depends. If you are the type to take Xeno stories at the surface level, or are new to Xeno, then I could see where you are coming from. But if you aren't, if you are well versed in the lore of the Xeno series as a whole, the end of FR is mindblowing.

I personally don’t see why the Xenoblade Chronicles series need to go full action RPG. Why not have that series be only for those who are heavily into RPGs. If you’re love turn base or in Xenoblade’s case combat base like games this series could speak to you. If you’re not than don’t look into it. Monolith Soft also has a new IP they’re working on that they showed concept art back in 2017 that says it’s full action.

I don't think it NEEDS to be an action RPG. I'm just saying if they want to really move that franchise forward, maybe looking into be more of an action RPG wouldn't be such a bad thing. It'll eventually catch it sales wise I'm sure, but Xenoblade Chronicles 3 hasn't even outsold Xenoblade 2. To the outside looking in, I've always heard comments about how they would like to try it, but the combat system just doesn't look appealing. Even myself. When it originally came out on Wii, I didn't really give it much of a look after seeing the combat system in the trailers no matter how much reviewers praised it. It was only because Wii U had a drought of games leading up to the next big one, that I decided to give it a shot.

The "just turn it into an action game" gets an immediate twisted disgust from me. People need to stop trying to eliminate the RPG genre by turning them into action games. Especially one of the few good rpg series left. Don't turn Xeno into Final Fantasy when it's always been better than Final Fantasy going back to Xenogears.

I love Xenoblade the way it is, so naturally I wouldn't mind seeing it continue with the combat system that's there. My main point with it being an action RPG is that maybe going full in with that wouldn't be such a bad idea. Especially since the series already leans in the action RPG direction anyways. There's many ways to go about making an action game that isn't just Devil May Cry. And like I also said, we can't act as if the combat system isn't the main thing holding back this series sales potential. It's always the number 1 thing outside of "time investment" that I've always heard as to why people either won't stick with the games, or just refuse to play altogether. Even myself, only reason I even gave the game a shot after dismissing it for a couple years because of the combat system, was because of the extreme droughts of releases on Wii U. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is still currently the most popular entry also, which 3 may or may not surpass. Anyways, thanks for watching!
