I assume that by 'they' you mean Jews. Certainly the Hebrew prophets do not mince words. Their language is direct and often graphic. But even in the Old Testaments, other nations are marked out for chastisement. Read Obadiah for instance. Do not read only to find what pleases you. You cannot hide behind the sins of others. You cannot claim that israeli violence is evil but Palestinian violence acceptable. That double standard is all too common these days. Have you read the New Testament? Take note: (Romans 3:23) 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' (James 2:10) 'Whoever keeps the whole law yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of a;;.' (John 1:8) 'If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.'

As a Christian I know that Israel did exist and God kicked the Israelites out bc they disobeyed God, and at some point they have to return to land God gave to Abraham for the Israelites which is Israel. Also I know biblically Jerusalem belonged to the Jews/Israelites as well as Bethlehem/Nazareth but today the Palestinians are claiming Jerusalem as theirs... and am told Nazareth is supposed belong to the Palestinians today...so that leaves me perplexed bc historically and biblically that's Israel. Suspect a performance show first time I saw several large cloth banners rolled out by protesters overhead by hand in highly coordinated fashion. Takes time and money to oppose. Palestinians themselves don't want a state. What majority forgets is the peace offer by Ehud Barak in 1999-2000. He offered to return not even to 1967 borders, but to 1948 borders. But Arafat never took it. Because it would have brought the end to the money flow directly into his pockets. It was always about the money. Period. And people screaming about giving palestinians a state - they don't understand the repercussions of such thing. I once talked to a few palestinian students and when I asked them about the issue they just laughed and asked me in return if I was ''a moronic leftie who lives in a bubble of illusions''.
