Hairball time is never fun! One of my cats, Trixie the Norwegian Forest cat with long hair, is prone to producing huge hairballs so she gets spoiled with broiled salmon, slivers of butter, a little bacon grease, or some salmon fancy feast appetizers. In the past she used to only like salmon but lately she's changed to chicken and beef so a little salmon is a treat for her now. I stopped giving my cats cat grass because that makes them vomit from it. Boo is mighty cute when he gets served his favorite piece of grass LOL

Geez, Boo looks like he's losing a lot of weight?? Perhaps muscle mass? Dehydration? You can't see it because you're with him everyday, but it's quite noticeable out here. Poor guy. Praying for the little guy.

That's a great idea putting those annoying messy scratcher inside a bigger box. I just bought two new cat houses with scratchers inside recently that thankfully keep that mess contained...for now, till they rip the whole thing apart LOL
