I’ve always been a little enamored by her. In my opinion- none of her movies/work are that groundbreaking or remarkable. I think it’s weird that Blake and Ryan literally are in each other’s work. Their is supporting each other - and then their is not being able to be your own person and separate. I think it is super weird they can’t just support each other. It’s usually a bad sign when a person’s partner can’t leave them alone at work,……. Just saying lol😂 Blake seems easily offended. How she is handling this role / I think speaks volumes of what types of roles she is capable of. Her remarks about share my location…….. so dismissive and spotlights her inability to hold the space and manage a level of maturity and emotional capacity and empathy for this role. She should probably stick to lady Deadpool.

Blake Lively has been typecast as a Blonde Bombshell since the beginning of her career. If she had taken the subject matter of the movie seriously and treated it when any kind of sensitivity or respect, there is a good chance that this role could've been pivotal for her as an actress. Instead she's out here telling women to "wear their florals" while her co-star, the leading man seems to care more about DV against women than she does. What a disgrace. Justin Baldoni never fat shamed Blake, she is point blank lying. Here is the story- Even though she is relatively slim, Blake is still around 5'8"- not a petite woman. Justin had to lift Blake up for a scene. He has a serious structural back condition and has to avoid heavy prolonged lifting- that would include Blake who probably weighed between 125-135 pounds post partum. Justin worked with a specialist on set to determine the safest way to lift Blake and how long he could safely hold her up based on her weight. He never insulted her body, he just had to be careful with his frail back which he needs to walk upright! Of course Blake lied and changed the whole thing into a childish story. She owes Justin an apology.

blake lively was/is rude, possibly shallow, and has taken over the movie and stepped on baldoni’s toes. baldoni is playing the perfect post-me too guy, he always gushes over women doing anything, even breathing or taking a dump, and would admit that as a man he couldn’t cross the street by himself without making mistakes but, thankfully, is always trying to do better. kjersti flaa, the interviewer from the bumpy interview, most definitely has not considered quitting her job just because blake lively and parker posey were rude unless they were the last straw out of a big heap of other entitled dumbasses. also, there is a possibility, although it does not justify the behaviour, that blake lively is overly sensitive about her figure and weight, maybe looks in general, since she complained that baldoni fat-shamed her, when in fact he was inquiring if lifting her wouldn’t put a strain on his back, which he may have had to ask about any other scene partner if he had to lift them. maybe she just has low self-esteem after her countless pregnancies, and reacts nastily to anything that might read to her as someone referencing her weight. so, basically, a lot of hypocrisy, youtube views and image management.

She could be an influential voice for women facing abuse but instead she’s out there doing interviews discussing her fashion. What a shame - My daughter and I lost respect for her.

"I'm not the kind of actor that can act without producing." Wtf happened to the movie industry? Every actress is a "producer", which means they get to call all the shots. As a director, I would never work with someone like that. If you don't have authority on the set as a director, you are toast.

I saw a youtuber talking about the difference between Blake and Justin press and seems like Blake wanted to use the promo of this movie like her Barbie movie moment and on top of that have a Barbie-Oppenheimer repetition but with her movie and Deadpool movie promoving the both of them. But this movie shouldn't be used to promote her new brand and do a fashion show, is to bring awareness and promote resources, seems like Justin is the only one that is taking that approach.

The author of the book, Colleen Hoover is also responsible for the toxicity known as It Ends With Us. She betrayed Justin, who bought the rights to her book early on to make into a film about domestic violence. The DV angle was why he wanted to make the movie, but CH just wanted the romcom. That hyped up the sales of It Ends With Us and the rest of her other books, helping it get to become a bestseller. She owes him for the hype. Then when Blake Lively came onboard, she threw him under the bus. If I was anyone in Hollywood, I wouldn't trust her. The source material is the real problem like all her other books. She's dishonest with her marketing of all her books.

As expected from Taylor's friends, all of them are entitled and drenched in victim narrative for attention. Look at her force her friends' music (Lana's & Taylor's) as soundtrack and let her famous husband rewrite a scene when he has nothing to do with it. The whole thing reeks entitlement. And now look at her pretending to be victimized by Justin and the interviewer, we are not stupid lady! P.S. Never understood the hype around Ryan, he seems fake to me. Even his looks, I don't get the hype! This situation might let the public wake up and see the real side of this couple.

I feel that reporter could’ve worded things differently. And I feel the clothes thing was a bit out of context. Scarlett Johansson went on tours for Marvel and while the male cast was asked about deeper ethical subjects surrounding the movies, she was asked about her clothes and makeup and she’s been publicly praised multiple times for clapping back at these interviewers, now Blake is taking heat cause it adds to the drama. The internet is getting more ridiculous at this point.
@naimaabdullahi62723 ай бұрын
You can’t compare her to Scar Jo. Context matters. If you watch Scarlett’s interviews you notice, all the interviewers were basically sexist males. They were unhinged in the way they kept asking about her costumes, some even asking about what kind of underwear she wore, and when they spoke to her male co stars they were suddenly professional and new how to be well mannered. Of course she’ll call them out on that blatant hypocrisy. As for Blake Lively, she’s someone who considers herself to be some fashion icon. In her interviews she loves talking about how she picked her outfits etc and when that kind female interviewer asks her politely and professionally she responds in a passive aggressive manner. That’s so mean and uncalled for. Scar Jo was fighting back against a bunch of sexist men who refused to ask her anything else except her costume and type of underwear. The two are incomparable
@MaivMorrigan3 ай бұрын
@@naimaabdullahi6272 I’ve watched those interviews and I still stand by my point. It’s not about the gender of the interviewer, it’s about what they think is “relevant” to ask a female actor.
@naimaabdullahi62723 ай бұрын
@@MaivMorrigan no it’s about how they were speaking to the women, scarlet was getting sexualized, her male co stars that were literally sitting beside her wore sexy costumes as well but they were only asked deep questions. That was blatant sexism and sexualizes and entire character. Blake wasn’t sexualized at all, she lashed out at an innocent woman for asking a simple question. Ps Blake loves talking about her clothes and style

My take on the interview is that Blake does seem to have a bit of a hair trigger but also I don’t think it’s appropriate for anyone to comment on someone else’s body at all. Period. Whether she was pregnant or not, it doesn’t matter she could’ve said congratulations. Congratulations to her her off camera if she wanted to I don’t think that that was the point of the interview though so I don’t get why she brought it up. And obviously bristled quite a lot so maybe notes for the future would be don’t comment on anybody’s body at all.
