I think this way you can still use the original ones and they will still look ok with the painted minis 😀

Oh dear!!! I could feel your pain when you tried to unmask the furniture pieces. 😭 I had similar experiences like that as well. It's horrible, but rewarding if you can recover the piece and still turn it into something amazing looking on the table. Good job, Miguel 👍🏻

I think it's an old Citadel pewter copy from GamesWorkshop. i have one in my collection and it's a beautiful miniature...Miguel may provide more background on it...

Should have used a hairdryer to soften the tape it would peal much more easily

Even when I used it it didn't help much... I think the fault was a combination of old cardboard and having primed with it on!
